Zhao Lianwei has been fond of painting since childhood, and after graduating from Zhangbei Normal School, he has been engaged in art teaching in junior high school and high school. In the seven or eight years after his retirement from the Wanquan Vocational Education Center, he created four or five hundred works, mainly realistic figure paintings of Chinese painting, and published many art works in various newspapers and magazines, participated in art competitions many times, and won high awards several times. He said: "There are two kinds of painting methods in Chinese painting, Gongbi painting and freehand painting, Gongbi painting is painted on cooked rice paper, which does not penetrate, and the expression is neat and meticulous, and freehand painting uses raw rice paper, which can penetrate and express the effect of ink and water. However, I use raw rice paper to paint more detailed things, and it is difficult to draw them in detail, which is the biggest difficulty in the creative process. ”
