The "driver" who carpools and solicits customers does not even have a car
Mr. Wang met a "driver" who was carpooling and soliciting customers at the bus station. The "driver" said that there were just a few passengers on the same road, and they could take his private car to carpool together, and the fare would be much cheaper than the bus fare. As long as Mr. Wang makes an appointment on WeChat in advance and pays a deposit, the "driver" will send Mr. Wang and other passengers to their destination.
According to reports from the public, the "driver" repeatedly cheated at the bus station and defrauded the customer's deposit, but did not have a private car.
The police remind: Carpooling behaviors that have agreed in advance to receive a deposit must be treated with caution, and do not covet temporary convenience to take illegal vehicles.

Received a text message from the airline for a refund or change and fell into a scam trap
After Ms. Huang booked a ticket on a travel platform, she received a text message two days before the travel date, saying that the flight had been cancelled due to mechanical problems of the aircraft, and that she should call the customer service number if she had any problems. After Ms. Huang dialed the relevant phone, the "customer service" explained that she could get 200 yuan in compensation after the refund, and she needed to download a fraudulent APP to carry out relevant operations. Subsequently, the scammer pretended to be a customer service of a claim center and asked Ms. Huang to fill in valid personal information and a valid digital collection code in the installed APP. After filling it out, Ms. Huang immediately received a large deduction reminder text message from the bank, and then realized that she had been deceived.
