The English test mainly tests two aspects: one is vocabulary and the other is grammar. The importance of words is self-evident, because all the reading comprehension, listening, gestalt, choose five and other test questions must know the words in order to complete, which is not the way for the tutor. And the grammatical content is not much, accounting for 10% of the weight.
It's easy to counterattack in English, you can level and fight monsters like a game, and if you want to get a high score, you have to fight big bosses at different levels.
The first level: get the vocabulary and get 90+
If the child's English score is still below 90 points, it must be lazy and does not like to memorize words. The more words you memorize at this level, the better, and the sooner you can memorize them, the sooner you can complete the accumulation, and build up a strong confidence in your child's English subject.
How to memorize high school words? With a 3,500-word list and 30 words a day, it takes a long time to memorize in this way, and the effect is not good, and it is easy to discourage children's enthusiasm.
1. Memorize high-frequency words first, and take down the high-frequency first, 100 per day. At the level of memorizing words, don't spell, just do one thing, that is, to translate English into Chinese, as long as this English word appears, you can know the meaning of Chinese within three seconds. 2. After getting the high-frequency words, memorize 3500 words, 3500 words for 10 days, memorize 350 words a day, after completing a repeat, there must be a lot of words that you don't remember, and then start the second time, the third time, I believe that a word appears more than 6 times, and it will gradually become familiar.
3. When brushing reading and gestalt, write down the new words that you don't know and add them to the list of memorized words.
There are not many shortcuts to memorizing words, only keep repeating, memorize more than 10 times, and always remember.
The first level, you must solve the vocabulary problem, the first year of high school is a large number of mechanical memory words, as long as the vocabulary problem is solved, it can generally reach 90+.
The second level: train objective questions, accumulate experience, and reach 120+
It's just that although I can pass the memorized words, I can't get a high score. If you want to get a high score, you must strengthen the training of objective questions, what are objective questions?, except for essays, all English questions are objective questions. These test-taking exams are skillful, and only in the process of doing the questions can you accumulate experience in doing objective questions.
At least 1-2 reading comprehension questions (completed within 8 minutes) and cloze brushing questions (completed within 17 minutes) every day, and you will see the effect when you practice 50 or 100 articles.
When practicing English, don't pay too much attention to the accuracy of the questions, at this time, pay more attention to the reasons why you are wrong, whether it is not the words, or the phrase collocation is unfamiliar, or the comprehension problem? Most of these reasons are the reasons.
Therefore, after completing the question, you must find the reason, for example, to do the gestalt, you must know each option word in the gestalt, some words often appear in the gestalt, which is very frequent. If you don't know how to write down the words, be sure to write them down. There are also skills in doing gestalt, and these skills need to be summarized and accumulated.
Reading and gestalt is recommended to brush "English Times", it is best to brush the first year of high school, there are many articles in foreign magazines, and college entrance examination questions are also from these foreign magazines.
The first year of high school solves the problem of words, and from the second year of high school, it is necessary to complete the transformation from mechanical memory to experience accumulation.
Level 3: Composition training, reach 140+
The real gap in English scores in high school is in composition, which is a subjective question, and if you deduct less, it is easy to get 140+.
English writing requires the accumulation of a large number of materials, in addition to memorizing some sample essays, but also purposefully and repeatedly, learning advanced vocabulary expression, sentence formation, at least half a year of continuous training, in order to improve the quality of the composition.
