Focusing on the "stuck neck" problems such as process design, material research and development, and fast loading control strategy of high-power and large-capacity long-term energy storage air compression/expansion unit, the above three units have overcome the key technology of axial flow compressor with large-scale axial air intake, lower exhaust, and frequent start and stop under wide load conditions, and put forward the configuration scheme of axial flow + centrifugal compression of compressor units, and developed the world's first non-refueling compressed air expander equipment with the largest capacity and best performance, with a rated power of 300 megawatts, which fills the gap in China.

It is reported that the 300 MW compressed air storage project in Yingcheng, Hubei Province is a demonstration engineering practice of the 300MW compressed air storage power station carried out by the Digital Technology Group to implement the requirements of China's energy construction system to build "three new" energy construction, relying on the integrated model of "research, investment, construction and operation", and adopting the "China can build a large-capacity, high-efficiency and ultra-long-term compressed air storage system solution", creating a new route of green, zero-carbon, efficient and economical large-capacity compressed air storage.
