Renowned Warcraft fan and content creator MrGM has made a major discovery in the PTR (test server) of the World of Warcraft hardcore server, suggesting that the Warcraft classic server will add a new map called "the Searing Basin", which may be a new dungeon or PVP battleground. There are currently three types of classic servers: permanent 60 servers, exploration season servers, and 60 hardcore servers, which are unknown.
MrGM's tweet states that he found the goblin NPC Gurgthock on the PTR, and that talking to him will mention a place called the Scorching Basin and the option to "learn about this place", but clicking on it has no response. Through data mining, MrGM found instances where the Scorching Basin was classified as a dungeon, proving that the Scorching Basin may be a new copy. However, through the NPC's past experience (the publisher of the Nagrand Blood Arena quest during the TBC era) and the line "I guess you won't be able to make it for 5 minutes in the Scorching Basin, friend", it is implied that it could be a Hardcore Duel Arena, or a free-for-all PVP area, similar to the Gubarash Arena.

Gulgosok is an old NPC from World of Warcraft, which first appeared in the TBC era and later in various expansions, but this is the first time he appeared in the 60s. Historically, Gurgosok has typically launched tournament-like side quests, including fun boss fights. And judging from the name, the closest to the scorching basin are the Arathi Basin and the scorching canyon, which may also have some kind of connection.
While these are found on the PTR of the Hardcore server, it is technically possible for the new image to be placed on the Permanent 60, Exploration Season, and Hardcore servers. Of course, PTR's is only a reference, and the content may not necessarily be ultimately retained.
