Students from many schools in Changning came to Warm Heart Nest to experience this national intangible cultural heritage.
Known as the "living fossil" in the history of printing, the art of engraving printing began in the Sui Dynasty and was widely used in the middle and late Tang Dynasty. "The plates used for engraving need to be soaked, dried and oiled to facilitate engraving. The engraving process of engraving is the core of engraving printing technology, and there are hundreds of knife techniques for engraving alone. At the beginning of the activity, the students listened carefully to the teacher's introduction to the origin and application of engraving printing technology.
After learning about the basic content of engraving printing technology and watching the production video, the teenagers took turns to experience engraving printing. After a while, the patterns printed with the "Neighborhood Rubik's Cube" warm nest in Zhoujiaqiao Street jumped on the paper, and the students felt the novelty at the same time, but also sighed that the traditional culture of our Chinese nation has a long history, broad and profound.

It is understood that the idea of this activity comes from Lu Xuan, a volunteer of the five elders of the Community Care Working Committee and a community painting expert. He used a paintbrush to outline the outline lines of the "Neighborhood Rubik's Cube", and contacted Gu Xiaoci, a disciple of Master Chen Yishi, the only representative inheritor of Chinese engraving and printing skills at the national level. Gu Xiaoci used a carving knife to carve this special "Neighborhood Rubik's Cube" engraving according to the outline sketch provided by Mr. Lu Xuan, and this event also marked the official appearance of this engraving.
According to the street, Zhoujiaqiao Street is creating a youth development street in Changning District, through the combination of intangible cultural heritage culture and natural aesthetic education, actively excavating community talents, enriching the spiritual and cultural life of young people, and strengthening the connection between residents and the community.
