Nylon-66 fiber has high strength, low temperature resistance, light weight and good wear resistance, but it has poor heat resistance and light resistance, large elasticity, and is easy to deform and wrinkle under external force. Cotton fiber has good light and heat resistance, but poor abrasion resistance. The use of blending of two fibers can complement each other functionally and produce a compounding effect, thereby improving the performance of the fabric.

First, the selection of raw materials

Our company produces fine cotton/nylon 75/25 14.7tex blended yarn, and the main performance indicators of the selected raw materials are shown in Table 1.

Second, the pretreatment of raw materials

The specific resistance of nylon fiber quality is larger, the fiber has high elasticity, the holding force is poor, it is easy to produce static electricity in the production process, and the spinnability is poor, so it is necessary to soften and maintain the health treatment first, and simmer for 24 hours after spraying evenly with an appropriate amount of warm water and antistatic agent, and then evenly mix it with the torn fine cotton strip according to the proportion of dry weight. Hanging phenomenon.

Third, the process flow

Fourth, the main process parameters of each process are set

4.1 Kiyohana

The fatigue of the fiber in the fine cotton strip is high, so the principle of "low speed, light beating, and less falling" is adopted to reduce the damage to the fiber and ensure uniform mixing. Main process parameters: FA106 thug speed 480r/min, comprehensive thug speed 800r/min, cotton roll roller speed 11r/min, cotton roll weight 380g/m, length 32.5m, workshop relative humidity control at 60-70%.

4.2 Carding

According to the characteristics of good elasticity, fine fineness and long length of nylon fiber, carding adopts the process principle of "more combing, less falling, low speed and fast transfer". Increase the tin thorn ratio, improve the fiber transfer effect, and reduce the nep formed by backflower rubbing. The lid plate adopts a lower speed to reduce the amount of cover flowers and increase the production rate. Appropriately reduce the distance between the cylinder and the cover plate to reduce the nep, and on the basis of increasing the linear speed ratio of the cylinder and the thorn roller, the speed of the thorn roller and the cylinder should be appropriately reduced to reduce the phenomenon of rubbing and backflowering.

Main process parameters: cylinder 315r/min, barbed roller 676r/min, cover plate 77mm/min, strip speed 90m/min, cylinder-barbed roller interval 7 inches, cylinder-movable cover plate 8, 7, 7, 6 wire, Xilin-dorf interval 5 inches. The relative humidity of the workshop is controlled at 60-65%.

4.3 Drawing

Due to the small friction coefficient of nylon fiber, it is easy to produce static electricity and wrap rollers and rollers, which affects normal production, so lower vehicle speed is used, and rollers are treated with antistatic coatings. Two draws are adopted, and the last drawer is equipped with a self-strip leveling system to reduce the unevenness of the strips. The main process parameters are shown in Table 2.

4.4 Roving

The roving adopts the process principle of "large spacing, large twist coefficient, and low speed", and the main process parameters are: quantitative 4.4g/10m, total drafting 7.72, post-drafting 1.21 times, twist coefficient 105, roller spacing 10×28×40mm, spacing block 5.0mm, relative humidity 55-65%.

4.5 Spun

In order to improve the quality of yarn and improve the unevenness of strip drying, the spinning yarn adopts the process principle of "low speed, large spacing, small post-drafting, and small jaws", and the main process parameters are: total drafting 68.2 times, post-drafting 1.13 times, roller spacing 17×40mm, jaws 2.5mm, twist coefficient 440, and average spindle speed 14300r/min. Relative humidity 55-60%.

4.6 Winding

A small winding tension is used to ensure that the package is not deformed. The speed is set to 1100m/min to ensure the quality of the joint, and the joint strength is required to be not less than 80% of the original yarn strength. Reasonably set up the electric cleaning process to remove harmful yarn defects.

4.7 Yarn index

The yarn quality index of fine cotton/nylon 75/25 14.7tex blended yarn is shown in Table 3.

V. Conclusion

To produce nylon blended yarn, nylon must do a good job of health treatment, reasonably control the temperature and humidity of each process, strengthen operation, cleaning management, etc., so as to ensure smooth production and product quality to meet customer requirements.
