Zhang Daqian, formerly known as Zhang Zhengquan, was born in 1899 in a scholarly family in Neijiang, Sichuan. According to incomplete statistics, Zhang Daqian, who is funny and free-spirited, has a lot of people with a surname and a well-documented reputation, including a four-room lady, many confidants, and almost all of them are affectionate.

Zhang Daqian and Kimiko Yamada met around 1953, when Zhang Daqian was 54 years old.
