I am a gynecologist from a grassroots hospital, an obsessive lover of gynecological endocrinology, and I came to Beijing to start my long-awaited study life with my love for gynecology work and the confusion in my daily work.
Time flies, and the intense and fulfilling life of further education is coming to an end in a blink of an eye.
Through this study, I have broadened my horizons, recognized the gaps, learned rich theoretical knowledge, improved my clinical diagnosis and treatment skills, and strengthened my confidence and determination to carry out gynecological endocrinology business in our hospital.
Love and confusion made me choose to further my education
Beijing Shijitan Hospital, affiliated to Capital Medical University, has a very complete diagnosis and treatment structure for gynecological endocrine diseases and a complete diagnosis and treatment process, with first-class diagnosis and treatment capabilities and professional level.
Professor Bai Wenpei, whom I have admired for many years, is a tutor of doctoral teachers and students at Peking University Medical Center, who not only does the surgery beautifully, but also has been deeply involved in gynecology for many years, and has carried out unique menopausal health care work, which is the first batch of "National Menopausal Health Care Specialty Specialty Specialty" demonstration base in China and the first in Beijing.
There are many patients in the Gynecological Endocrinology Specialty Clinic, and the professors here have solid theoretical knowledge and rich clinical experience, which has benefited me a lot. I am familiar with the clinical diagnosis and treatment and long-term management of abnormal uterine bleeding (puberty, childbearing age, perimenopause), amenorrhea, premature ovarian failure, hyperprolactinemia, dysmenorrhea, polycystic ovary syndrome, perimenopausal and menopausal syndrome, and long-term health management of menopause.
Patients from all over the country come to visit and have complex conditions, but the professors complete the diagnosis and treatment of each patient with quality and quantity, and often cannot get off work normally, during which there is no time to drink water and go to the toilet.
During the training in the gynecology clinic, Professor Bai required each doctor to carefully inquire about the medical history, write the medical record, and then personally examine the body, guide the analysis of the condition, have clear diagnosis and treatment ideas, trace the source of the medical history, strive for professional excellence, and teach by word and deed.
Professor Bai often told us that we should learn to empathize, stand in the patient's perspective, think about the patient, and solve the patient's difficulties, which I will always need to learn and learn from in my career.
She also often told us that as a doctor, the ability to learn for life is very important, and we must live to learn all the time! No matter how busy I am, Mr. Bai in my eyes is always smiling, active thinking, full of self-confidence, so energetic, energetic, and full of personality charm!
Ms. Bai has persisted in her popular science work for many years, and she suggested that we must talk more and practice more when communicating with patients, and return to the local area to give popular science lectures and give lectures to medical workers in the hospital.
Through the medical staff to influence the people around them, go deep into the community, schools, and administrative organs to hold lectures;
Through the WeChat platform, Douyin, Kuaishou and other public accounts, publish small knowledge, make small videos, and explain menopause-related knowledge in simple terms.
At the same time, exercise, nutrition guidance, scientific exercise, body management, and maintaining a good health state are always taught to us without reservation.
Basic to clinical guidelines to practice
It is particularly worth mentioning that at 7:50 a.m. every day, Professor Bai has to lead the general medical staff to work together on time, including nursing shift, doctor shift, surgical shift, and English morning shift, perioperative period, and discussion of difficult and critical cases. Finally, Director Bai Wenpei commented and summarized, and each time he could put forward unique insights, and every difficult clinical problem was peeled off and pushed forward layer by layer until all questions were solved.
From basic to clinical, from guidelines to practice, from the whole to the individual, in simple terms, guide us to form a meticulous diagnosis and treatment thinking and a clinical attitude of excellence, and treat students without reservation, as long as there is a willingness to learn, teach at any time, and give guidance.
In addition to attending difficult and complex surgeries and visiting specialist clinics, Professor Bai organizes a Tencent meeting online case discussion every month to deepen his understanding of the disease, share the literature and guidelines related to the disease, and master more new treatments.
In addition to work, we often organize us to participate in online or offline academic conferences, and listening to Mr. Bai's lectures is a kind of spiritual enjoyment, and I can't get enough of it every time I listen to it.
I have heard of ketogenic diet weight loss before, and I was skeptical, when I witnessed an overweight patient weighing 117kg, through the ketogenic diet in the outpatient clinic, which lasted 11 months, lost 55kg, and perfectly transformed into a light and fair lady, witnessing ketogenic is so magical, subverting my cognition.

In the outpatient clinic, I witnessed an 83-year-old patient who had been on menopausal hormone therapy with Director Bai for more than 30 years;
A retired senior intellectual from the Chinese Academy of Sciences is simply our "role model" for how energetic, clear-headed, bright-eyed, crisp voice, steady steps, and flexible limbs are.
