Boe is Bayern's second reinforcement to the back line in the winter window, the first is England's 29-year-old central defender Dier, who seems to be playing well at present, and also has the talent to command the backline.
Boe came through the Rennes academy in Ligue 1 and was promoted to Rennes' first team in 2019-20 before joining Galatasaray from Rennes for €5.65 million in the summer window of 2021 and became the team's first-choice right-back.
The 23-year-old Boi, who is 1.78 meters tall and has a right-footed player, mainly plays at right-back, but can also play at left-back, and is currently valued at 22 million euros in Germany.
