At noon on January 28, 2024, Beijing time, Oscar Corrazzo from Puerto Rico played well in a WBO miniweight world title defense bout held at the Echo Center in Phoenix, USA, defeating Nicaragua challenger Renelis Gutierrez by knockout in the third round of the match.
This match is a cushion match before the match between Jamie Monguia and John Ryder. With the win, Oscar Collazzo's professional record improved to nine wins, including seven knockouts. Considering Oscar Colazo's current age and the strength of other world champions in the miniweight division, Oscar Corazzo should have what it takes to unify the entire miniweight division.
