In the ancient Nanling County of Anhui Province on the mainland, there is a unique mountain - Shooting Mountain, also known as Bijia Mountain. The rich Dagong Mountain looks at each other like a target, and this is the origin of the mountain. According to historical records, this mountainous area was once a paradise for copper miners, but it has become a mysterious existence after the washing of time.
Since ancient times, there has been a legend that the top of the mountain has jade stones. When the author was searching for local historical records, he found relevant records in the fragment of the Southern Song Dynasty inscription Taiping Huanyu Ji, which described in detail the geographical location and topographical characteristics of the mountain in Nanling County. According to the book, the mountain was originally under the management of Nanling County, and the current Bijia Mountain is the name before the mountain.
Legend has it that there was jade on the top of the mountain, and the people went to hunt for treasure after hearing about it, but they failed to do so due to the wind and rain, so the stone on the top of the mountain was mistaken for jade. The high-altitude shooting of the drone brings this history back to life, and the white stone on the top of the mountain looks like an ancient arrow target, hence the name "The Mountain Shot".
Now, the dust of history is gradually dissipating, and the emergence of drones has made it possible to observe the whole picture of Beacon Hill more intuitively. For this controversial mountain, people are both curious and questioning about its existence. Although it is generally accepted in the academic community that Beacon Hill is a mountain that has been transformed over the generations, many people believe that it is a remnant of an ancient volcano.
I've been here many times myself, and each flight has brought me new insights. Thousands of feet above the plane, I looked down on Beacon Hill and saw an area surrounded by arcing green hills, rather than the steep mountains that I traditionally thought of as towering into the sky. As I adjusted my angle and flew to the other end of Beacon Hill, I was shocked by a scene. The movement of the entire ridge is completely that of a curvaceous woman, which undoubtedly adds to the mystery of Beacon Hill.
With the continuous progress of science and technology, the use of satellite images is no longer limited to scientific researchers, and ordinary people can also understand the historical truth and geographical appearance of their own region through satellite images. According to the latest data in my possession, there are four famous volcanic sites in Nanling County, Anhui Province, namely Dashu Mountain in Hefei City, Zongyang Fushan Mountain, Nushan Mountain in Mingguang City, and Fanchang Maren Mountain. Among them, the morphology of Dashu Mountain in Hefei City is the most similar to the tail hammer volcano, that is, there were many eruptions in an ancient period, and after many years of evolution and geological changes, the topographic form seen today was formed. This is more in line with the general public suspicion that Beacon Hill is a volcanic site.
