1, Marshal Xu Xiangqian
A native of Wutai County, Shanxi, Huangpu Phase I. He participated in the Guangzhou Uprising, and was later sent to the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet District as the deputy division commander.
This Red Army division consisted of only three or four hundred men, all of whom were rebellious peasants, lacked combat experience, and had backward weapons and equipment.
Xu Shuai commanded the troops to win three battles and three victories, captured weapons, and the team grew to several thousand.
After the establishment of the Red 4th Army, he commanded the four major battles of Huang'an, Shanghuang, Sujiabu, and Huangguang. In the four battles, a total of more than 100,000 enemies were destroyed, and the Red Army grew to 45,000 men.
In the Sichuan-Shaanxi Anti-Liulu Siege Campaign, Xu Shuai commanded 80,000 Red Army, defeated 200,000 Sichuan troops, eliminated 60,000 enemy troops, and captured 20,000 enemy troops. It set a record for the destruction of the enemy during the Red Army.
In the Jinzhong Battle of the Liberation War, Xu Shuai commanded 60,000 local troops and annihilated Yan Xishan's 100,000 troops in one month, completely reversing the situation in Shanxi.
2. General Awahiro.
General Su, like Xu Shuai, is good at winning by surprise.
General Su Yu participated in the Nanchang Uprising, and his reputation was not very good during the Red Army.
During the Anti-Japanese War, it began to break out, and the surprise attack on Guanshumen completely annihilated hundreds of enemies in one night, and no one of our troops died. In the Battle of Huangqiao, our army was 7,000 people, 30,000 enemies were opposed, and 11,000 enemies were annihilated. The Battle of Cheqiao fought deep into the hinterland of the Japanese army, setting a record for the New Fourth Army to annihilate the Japanese army.
In the War of Liberation, General Su Yu seemed to be hanging, and in the Soviet-Chinese Campaign, more than 30,000 of our army defeated 120,000 of the national army and annihilated more than 50,000 enemies.
The subsequent Subei Campaign and Laiwu Campaign all set a record of our army's annihilation of the enemy. The Battle of Menglianggu annihilated the reorganized 74th Division and sought victory in danger. The Battle of Eastern Henan, the first to liberate the provincial city and annihilate one and a half corps of the enemy, became a turning point in the Liberation War.
The Huaihai Campaign, in which 600,000 of our army faced 800,000 of the national army and 600,000 of the enemy, was the largest battle of the Liberation War.
