Let's talk about football on January 27, Beijing time!

Days after Embiid and Towns did that, Doncic and Booker became the fifth pair to score more than 60 points on the same day.

Prior to that, the last time two 60-point games on the same day was on April 9, 1978, with David Thompson scoring 73 points and George Gervin 63 points. Before Embiid and Towns succeeded, the NBA hadn't had such a day in nearly 46 years.

Doncic played a game where only Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant were leading — Saturday was the fourth anniversary of the death of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar — and was on the NBA's all-time scoring list. Chamberlain scored 100 points on March 2, 1962, Bryant scored 81 on January 18, 2006, and Chamberlain scored 78 points on December 8, 1961.

Now, Doncic joins their echelon with his 73 points tied with Thompson and Chamberlain (Chamberlain twice), tied for the most in NBA history.

Booker's 62 points weren't enough to stop the Pacers from coming back in the final moments.

Booker's career-high 70 points — also a loss in Boston in 2017 — in the Suns' 133-131 loss to the Pacers, he shot 22-of-37, 12-of-13 and 6-of-12 from three-point range. Booker misses a three-point shot at the buzzer.

Three times in his career, he scored at least 59 points, but somehow, the Suns went 0-3 in those games.

"He's an amazing player," Suns coach Frank Vogel said. Personally, I think he should be drafted as an All-Star starter. I think the whole world can see it. He will appear in that game when the coach votes (reserves). What a special show
