Many people in Zaosheng, Liangping, Pingzi and other townships in Ningxian County have set up Hanfu rental and sales stores in Xi'an, and have gained a lot in Xi'an's tourism industry.
After the Spring Festival in 2023, Quan Anfeng, a young man from Nanjie Village, Zaosheng Town, Ning County, who has been running a wedding photography shop for nearly 20 years, saw a lot of tourists wearing Hanfu on the street when he was traveling in Luoyang, Henan, which gave him a lot of inspiration: "Xi'an is not only the ancient capital of the Thirteen Dynasties, with profound historical and cultural heritage, but also a world-famous tourist city, with many Internet celebrity check-in places such as Datang Sleepless City, and the market potential for Hanfu rental and sales is huge and the prospects are broad. ”
Quan Anfeng thought that this was a huge business opportunity, and he immediately came to Xi'an, inspecting the stores around the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, and inspecting the docking of Hanfu procurement channels and manufacturers. In late February 2023, after renting a store of more than 300 square meters near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, he went to Heze City, Shandong Province, to buy back more than 600 sets of different styles and age-appropriate Hanfu and Tang costumes at one time, and hired 10 makeup artists and 10 photographers. After 30 days of preparation, his clothing rental and sales store opened.
The new store opened and was favored by many tourists, who either rented or bought. The store arranges makeup artists to make up carefully for tourists, and also connects with professional photographers to accompany tourists to major scenic spots to take photos, realizing the "one-stop" service.
Quan Anfeng said: "The clothing we rent and sell includes Hanfu and Tang costumes, and there are many styles to meet the needs of different tourists. At the beginning, I could rent twenty or thirty sets a day, earning more than 3,000 yuan. Later, the business got better day by day, and when it was good, it could earn more than 10,000 yuan a day, which lasted for more than a month. ”
As the business is on the right track, Quan Anfeng tried to open an online live broadcast to let more people understand Hanfu culture by explaining the history and culture of Xi'an and the cultural origin of Hanfu and Tang costumes. Many people who plan to visit Xi'an have placed orders online and rented Hanfu in his store.
In September 2023, Quan Anfeng's rent for Hanfu near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square in Xi'an expired, and he went to inspect the store around the bell tower. In order to grasp the passenger flow of this section, he went to the opposite side of the Bell Tower Hotel every morning to count the flow of people. After more than ten days of "squatting", he decided to rent a gold store in the prosperous section at a price of 100,000 yuan per month and opened a Hanfu experience hall, which was managed by his wife Zheng Hongxia. Later, he successively opened two Hanfu experience halls in Xi'an.
A single flower is not spring, and the garden is full of purple and red spring. After Quan Anfeng earned the "first pot of gold" in Xi'an by renting and selling Hanfu, he told this business opportunity to the wedding photography practitioners in Zaosheng and Pingzi in Ning County, mobilizing them to go to Xi'an to do Hanfu and Tang costume rental and sales business, and help willing friends to find shops, purchase Hanfu, and guide marketing.
Xu Wenna, a 38-year-old native of Zaosheng Town, has opened a photo studio in Pingzi Street for more than 20 years, and business will be sluggish in 2023. The museum has built pavilions and other real scenes, displaying more than 600 sets of different styles of Hanfu, in case of local rainy weather, visitors can complete the shooting in the store, so that visitors can deeply feel the charm of Hanfu culture. "After the opening of the experience hall, business was booming, with an average daily income of 30,000 yuan or 40,000 yuan. Xu Wenna said.
