author:Jasmine at the end of the world

Lei Zhengfu and Guo Li are two people who don't know each other, but what they have in common is that they have both been in prison.

Lei Zhengfu's sentence was commuted twice

Lei Zhengfu is 66 years old this year. From 1979 to 1981, Lei Zhengfu, who studied in the Normal School for three years, changed from a substitute teacher to a cadre of the Changshou County Culture and Education Bureau. He became a graduate student of the Party School with his academic qualifications, and his position became the secretary of the Beibei District Party Committee of Chongqing City, at the department level.

At the beginning of 2008, his 12-second indecent video was not exposed on the Internet, and then a case was opened for investigation. On June 28, 2013, the Chongqing No. 1 Intermediate People's Court pronounced a verdict on Lei Zhengfu and sentenced Lei Zhengfu to 13 years in prison and confiscated 300,000 yuan of personal property for accepting bribes.

Lei Zhengfu commuted his sentence of 10 months and 9 months twice in 2015 and 2018, for a total of 19 months. He was released from prison in January this year.

Guo Li, who defended his daughter's rights, did not lose five years in one day

Guo Li, a native of Beijing, graduated from the University of International Business and Economics. He is proficient in German and English, and is engaged in simultaneous interpretation, earning one million a year 20 years ago.

In September 2008, the media revealed that "S&N" brand milk powder contained melamine. Guo Li immediately took his daughter to the hospital for examination, and the results showed that "several dot-like strong echoes can be seen in the central collection system of both kidneys", and after sending the remaining "Shi'en" brand milk powder at home for testing, it was found that the amount of melamine in the milk powder exceeded the standard by 132 times.

After an investigation in the United States, it was found that S&N did not have production qualifications in the United States. Subsequently, Guo Li approached the seller and S&N to claim compensation, and exposed the relevant situation of his company to the media.

On June 13, 2009, S&En signed a "settlement agreement" with Guo Li to compensate Guo Li's daughter with 400,000 yuan, and Guo Li also stated in writing that he would not pursue the lawsuit and waive the claim for compensation. On June 15, S&N officially apologized to the public for its identity, acknowledging that "the S&N brand is owned by Chinese."

On June 29, S&N suddenly contacted Guo Li and said that if you have any requirements, you can still put forward, and the company is willing to listen to your opinions. Guo Lixin thought it was true and demanded another 3 million yuan in compensation.

That night, S&N and Yashili Group, a major shareholder, believed that they had obtained evidence of Guo Li's "extortion" of 3 million yuan. The next day, they went to the Public Security Bureau of Chao'an County, Guangdong Province to report the case: "After Guo Li got 400,000 yuan, he tasted the sweetness and intensified it, and on June 29, 2009, he once again demanded an unreasonable and illegal demand of 3 million yuan from our group company. In July 2009, Guo Li was taken away by the Hangzhou police. In January 2010, the Chao'an County Court sentenced Guo Li to five years in prison. Guo Li appealed. In February, the Chaozhou Intermediate People's Court rejected the appeal and upheld the original judgment. In May, the Guangdong High Court made a retrial decision and ordered the Chaozhou Intermediate People's Court to retry the case. After the retrial in December, another ruling upheld the original verdict. In 2014, Guo Li was released from prison after serving five years in prison, and in May 2015, the Guangdong Provincial High Court issued a "Retrial Decision". On April 7, 2017, the retrial changed the verdict to not guilty to the defendant Guo Li in the original trial, and the presiding judge informed Guo Li that he could apply for state compensation in accordance with the law.

A social elite with an annual salary of one million was imprisoned for five years in order to get an explanation for his victimized daughter, and he did not reduce a single day. After being released from prison, his wife was separated, and his parents were old and frail. In 2014, Guo Li, who had been tortured, became a fourth-level intellectual disabled person and received a "Disability Certificate".

In the latest news, Guo Li put forward various compensation claims, and finally received 630,000 yuan.

Liang Bizhi, former secretary of the Xiashan District Party Committee of Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, commuted his sentence four times, for a total of 20 months. Liang Bizhi accepted bribes of 2.618 million yuan and 50,000 US dollars many times, and there were a large number of details of "selling officials". In 2014, Liang Bizhi was sentenced to 13 years in prison and confiscated 150,000 yuan of property for the crimes of accepting bribes and embezzlement.

Zhang Erjiang, the "secretary of the five poisons", is well-known to the world, "blowing, selling, prostituting, gambling, and greedy" all five poisons, and has also created a record of 107 mistresses. In July 2002, Zhang Erjiang was sentenced to 15 years in prison by the Hubei Provincial High People's Court for embezzlement and bribery. Because Zhang confessed and repented in prison, he also published four monographs. In 2010, he was released from prison early.

I saw a sentence on the Internet that is particularly good, when the judicial power is in the hands of brain-dead judges, and when the various interests that may be mixed behind it are in the hands of the brutal entanglement, the public procuratorate and law will be completely reduced to a public weapon that kills the people!

Luo Xiang, a well-known law professor, said that if the rules are vague and unclear, it is very likely that the people will generally violate the law, and it will be difficult for the state power to make effective judgments, and it will easily lead to selective law enforcement and then abuse of power.
