When it comes to Cambodia, a small country in Southeast Asia, there are three points that we are more familiar with: one is the famous historical site of Angkor Wat, which is in the geography book -

The second is Norodom Sihanouk, who is known to the older generation as he lived in Beijing for a long time and died in Beijing in 2012.

As the king of a country, the emotional history is naturally quite colorful.

The third point is what we know about Cambodia now, the lights are bright and green, and there is a lot of chaos, what are the "Cambodian Little Six" and "Cambodian Old Six".

In fact, looking through history, no matter which country or region, as long as there are people, there are rivers and lakes, and chaos is inevitable, and Cambodia is no exception. Especially in modern times, there are external factors, such as France, Japan, Vietnam, the former Soviet Union and the United States, and of course, a large country. The interior is not clean, don't look at the place is not big, there are not many people, but the parties and factions are intricate, it is simply not more messy than a steel wool ball, cut constantly, and the reason is still messy. Among them, there was one faction that caused the Cambodians a terrible disaster - the Khmer Rouge.

Cambodia was called Khmer in the past, transliteration, which probably means precious land, and the name Cambodia has been called since the middle and late Ming Dynasty. Since Khmer refers to Cambodia, I think everyone understands what the Khmer Rouge means.

The red color in Cambodia appeared relatively late, around 1950, and was officially established in 1960. Interestingly, Pol Pot and others were sent to France by the Cambodian state to study. The irony is that they should have studied Western science and technology well, and after completing their studies, they should have come back to serve the country, but they did not focus on their studies, to put it bluntly, this is actually not doing their job. In France, I didn't learn anything serious, but I learned to be anti-government, which I think the Cambodian government could never have dreamed of.

In 1962, the number one leader of the Khmer Rouge mysteriously disappeared, as for what the situation was, I think it was like the relationship between Chao Gai and Song Jiang, and Pol Pot, as the second-in-command, immediately ascended to the position. In order to seize power and realize Cambodia's popularity, it is obviously unrealistic to rely on Pol Pot's rabble of five or six people and seven or eight teams to rob alone. So, how do you grow and thrive?
