Helong Road Residence is located in Beixiaodian Village, Xilingjing Township, Yangqu County, with a construction area of 120 square meters. On August 22, 1937, the main force of the Red Army was reorganized into the Eighth Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army. The units of the Red Second Front Army and the 27th and 28th armies of the Red Army in northern Shaanxi, the 1st and 2nd independent divisions, the Chishui Guard Battalion and the 1 battalion of the Headquarters Special Service Regiment were reorganized into the 120th Division, with He Long as the division commander, Xiao Ke as the deputy division commander, Zhou Shidi as the chief of staff, Guan Xiang as the director of the Political Training Office, and Gan Siqi as the deputy director. In September, He Long led the 120th Division to cross the Yellow River and enter the area north of Xinzhou, and in October, he led his troops to advance to the northern section of Tongpu Road to cooperate with the Xinkou Campaign, and the division headquarters was stationed in Wuzhai. After the fall of Taiyuan, the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army instructed the 120th Division to open up guerrilla warfare near Taiyuan and undertake the task of opening up northwest Shanxi. In mid-November, He Long led his troops to Lan County via Lan Lan. During the period, passing through Yangqubei Xiaodian Town, He Long lived in the "Yongquanchang" business for 2 days. Before leaving, he left the 3rd Battalion of the 715th Regiment to help Beixiaodian set up a mobilization committee, and at the same time launched the formation of the 6th Guerrilla Squadron and the 7th Guerrilla Squadron at the fork. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the trade name of "Yongquanchang" in Beixiaodian was changed to a farm tool processing factory, and in 1960, it was rebuilt into a rural credit cooperative on the original site.

He Long (1896-1969) was a native of Sangzhi, Hunan. After joining the Communist Party of China in 1927, he served as the commander of the 120th Division of the Eighth Route Army, led the main force of the division to cross the Yellow River eastward, advanced behind enemy lines, and cooperated with the Kuomintang army to launch the Xinkou Campaign against the Japanese army, opening up the anti-Japanese base area in the northwest of Shanxi. At the end of 1938, he led his troops to advance to Jizhong. In 1940, he led his troops to return to the northwest of Shanxi, served as the secretary of the military and political committee of the northwest of Shanxi and the commander of the northwest military region of Shanxi, led the military and people of northwest Shanxi to smash the Japanese army's many "sweeps", and commanded the military and people of Jinsui to "squeeze the enemy out", creating many glorious examples. After the surrender of the Japanese army, he led the main force of the Jinsui army to the north and liberated the vast area of Jinzhong. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he served as third secretary of the Southwest Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, director of the State Sports Commission, vice chairman of the People's Revolutionary Military Commission of the Central People's Government, vice chairman of the National Defense Commission, vice premier of the State Council, and vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China. He was a member of the 7th and 8th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a member of the 8th Political Bureau of the Central Committee, and was awarded the rank of Marshal of the People's Republic of China in 1955, the 1st Class 81 Medal, the First Class Independent Freedom Medal, and the First Class Liberation Medal.
