The cooperation between the United States and Taiwan in the military field is very close, and the so-called "National Defense Authorization Act" passed by the US Congress has a clause urging the Pentagon to provide military training to Taiwan. In fact, the US military has been providing military training to Taiwan, and it can be seen from the long-term deployment of the 21st Fighter Squadron in the United States that Taiwan Island has acquired the skills of the US Air Force by studying in the United States through pilot rotation. According to the statistics of the Beacon Front Station, there are currently 140 F-16V Brock 20 batch fighters on Taiwan Island, and there are also 66 F-16V Brock 70/72 batch fighters that have not been delivered by the United States.
Although the US Government has declared that it adheres to the "one-China policy," it has not been able to implement it in a down-to-earth manner; the United States has not only provided Taiwan with weapons and equipment and personnel training, but has also adopted an aggressive posture in military deployment, including the so-called "freedom of navigation" in the Taiwan Strait by using warships. According to the announcement issued by the U.S. Pacific Seventh Fleet, the U.S. Navy used an Aegis missile destroyer on January 24 to carry out a military operation to intrude into the Taiwan Strait.
In 2023, the U.S. Navy will use warships to cross the Taiwan Strait more than 10 times, during which it will also collude with Canada. As a matter of fact, when the US Navy was using its guided-missile destroyers to cross the Taiwan Strait, US congressmen were visiting Taiwan Island, so there was already a rhythm of "gaining an inch." After the "general election" on Taiwan, many US politicians and members of the US Congress have visited Taiwan to "check in," which is obviously a violation of the US Government's commitment to the "one-China policy." At present, the United States is constantly hollowing out the "one-China policy" and openly shouting that the PLA will not be allowed to unilaterally change the status quo in the Taiwan Strait by force.
On January 25, China's Ministry of National Defense publicly responded to the collusion between the United States and Taiwan, and Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian said in response to a reporter's question that the PLA's Eastern Theater has maintained a normal military operation to deter and patrol Taiwan in the sea and air space around Taiwan Island, and stressed that the PLA will use actions to defend sovereignty and territorial integrity, and at the same time maintain regional peace and stability. China's Ministry of National Defense's statement has responded to the aggressive posture of the US military, and it is also a warning to the "Taiwan independence" forces.
On the Taiwan Strait issue, Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian reiterated China's red line, saying that China will never tolerate the provocation of "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, or even cross the red line, and at the same time will not allow external forces to interfere in the Taiwan Strait, thus sending a warning to the United States. After Lai Ching-te was elected, the United States and Taiwan immediately had a new collusion, and for this reason there should be no illusions about the United States and Taiwan, because the United States has not given up its hostile stance against China, and for this reason it wants to use the "Taiwan card" to try to prevent China's development and rise, and for this reason there have been all kinds of collusion and provocative actions.
