In May 2023, the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics and the Zhejiang Provincial Museum Society organized the selection of the first provincial museums "Treasures of the Top 100 Towns". In September 2023, a total of 51 "treasures of town museums" from 20 cultural and museum units in the province were gathered to hold a special exhibition (phase I) of the 100 major town museums in the province, which lasted for more than three months and received wide attention and praise from all walks of life.
