When I climbed to the top of Longshan Mountain, sweating and panting, it was already half past twelve at noon. After simply eating some dry food to satisfy hunger, I carefully learned about the moving story of the Longshan Conference and the Longshan Revolutionary Base Area.

Longshan Conference: From February 22 to 25, 1947, Zhuang Zheng presided over a meeting of underground party cadres in Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi (known as the Longshan Conference in the history of the Party) in the old house of Zheng Jinhuo, a revolutionary base household in Longshan Village, Tongkou Township, Linsen (Minhou) County. The meeting was attended by more than 30 underground workers from various parts of Fuzhou and Taiwan, and Zhuang Zheng conveyed the spirit of the meeting of party members and representatives of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee. He made a report entitled "On Opening Up the Second Battlefield" and announced the decision of the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi District Party Committees. The Urban Work Department of the Party Committee of Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi Districts of the Communist Party of China was formally established, and the Underground Army Headquarters was established at the same time. Lin Bai was appointed commander, Zeng Huanqian was appointed deputy commander, and Zhuang Zheng and Li Tie were appointed chief and deputy political commissars. The Longshan Conference was an important turning point in the urban work in the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi border areas, and played a profound and important guiding role in the development of the party's urban work in the future. It has promoted the extensive and in-depth development of the work in Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi cities, and made due contributions to the victory of the Liberation War.

It was established in February 1947, with Lin Bai as commander, Zeng Huanqian as deputy commander, Zhuang Zheng as political commissar, and Li Tie as deputy political commissar. There are 4 columns under Minhai, Mindong, Minjiang and Minnan. In March 1947, the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi underground army of the Minhai Column was established in Lingshi Mountain, Dongzhangxiang, Fuqing, with Zeng Huanqian as the commander and political commissar of the column, and its members were composed of more than 30 members of the maritime guerrilla force led by the former Minjiang Working Committee. At the same time, activities were suspended in July due to the "Ministry of Urban Industry Incident".

Lin Bai: (1911-1971), formerly known as Lin William, alias Lin Quan, Lin Renquan, was a native of Chengmen Township, Nantai Island, Fuzhou City. In 1936, he participated in revolutionary organization activities, joined the party in 1938, and in June 1945, the Minjiang Working Committee of the Communist Party of China was established, and Lin Bai served as a member of the Urban Work Department of the Working Committee, and participated in the formation of various organizations of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee. Zhuang Zheng: (1918-1947), also known as Qingji, alias Qian Kang, Zhao Feng, originally from Shipan Village, Putian, was born in Xushi Township, Jianyang, Nanping City. In 1936, he participated in revolutionary activities, and in 1947, he served as the political commissar of the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi underground army (and also the head of the urban industry department of the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi District Committee). On September 29, 1947, Zhuang Zheng and his wife were wrongfully killed due to the "Urban Engineering Department Incident". "Incident of the Ministry of Urban Industry": In 1947, the Urban Work Department of the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi District Committee of the Communist Party of China, according to the instructions of the Provincial Party Committee, mobilized the underground party members of the Communist Party of China in the city to raise organizational funds. In July of the same year, five private merchants in Fuzhou City smuggled more than 200 pieces of cloth and cotton yarn, but they were detained by the Kuomintang Customs at that time because they were transported without a permit. At that time, Chen Wenxiang, a customs warehouse keeper (a member of the Fuzhou underground party), and Hong Xuquan, the head of the supervision section, learned that Li Yingwai had taken out the materials under false names and stored them in the home of Meng Qi, a member of the Ministry of Urban Industry. Because the nanny hired by the Meng family revealed the matter to acquaintances and leaked the secret, Meng Qi was arrested by Kuomintang agents and his identity was exposed.

After Zhuang Zheng learned about it, he proposed three plans to rescue Meng Qi to the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi District Party Committee: using force to strengthen the prison, bribing the guards with heavy money, and fake surrender. The leaders of the district party committee therefore suspected that Zhuang Zheng had bought Meng Qi by informant, and immediately telegraphed to the East China Bureau of the Communist Party of China to request that it be dealt with. Zhang Dingcheng and Deng Zihui, leaders of the East China Bureau, called back, "If there is indeed an act of internal traitor, you can deal with it urgently, and you will no longer follow the wrong path, but you should find out the truth." ＂

The Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi District Party Committees then used torture to extract confessions, that is, Zhuang Zheng was executed on September 5 of the same year in Xitai, Qingkou Township, Linsen (Minhou) County, on the charge of "buying Meng Qi's internal traitor." Zhuang Zheng's wife, Yang Ruiyu (also an underground party member), was wrongfully executed in October as a result of the incident. This incident caused a large number of personnel from the Urban Engineering Department of the Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi border districts to be wrongfully killed. In 1956, after the Fujian Provincial Party Committee reported to the Central Committee for approval, it rehabilitated Zhaoxue for the "Ministry of Urban Industry Incident", and the people who died as a result were posthumously recognized as revolutionary martyrs.

It takes 7 hours, the whole journey is 25 kilometers, and the hike is 42,800 steps, from Tongkou to an altitude of 19 meters, climbing to Yeyang Village Committee of 520 meters (this is shown by six feet), and then down to the zoo parking lot at an altitude of 50 meters. This outdoor trip is the farthest trip I have traveled to Fuzhou again in 2023, but it is full of harvest and good mood!
