On January 24, the 2023 work summary meeting of the Fang County Sports Association for the Elderly was held in the conference room of the business building of Linhong Hotel. All members of the Council of the Association for the Elderly attended the meeting, Comrade Li Xiaohong, executive vice chairman and secretary general of the association, presided over the meeting, and the leaders of Fangxian University for the Aged were invited to attend the meeting.
Comrade Zhang Guangbin, chairman of the association, on behalf of the council of the association, comprehensively summarized the work in 2023 and arranged the key work in 2024.
In 2023, under the leadership of the County Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and with the joint efforts of all members, the Fang County Sports Association for the Elderly will plan the annual sports work plan for the elderly based on the functional positioning of the Senior Sports Association;
In 2024, the Fang County Senior Sports Association will continue to improve its political and work positions, continuously improve the quality and service level of sports work for the elderly, make full use of the festival time node, extensively carry out sports activities for the elderly, promote social harmony, and boost the healthy development of the economy, give full play to the leading role of party building, and further improve the construction of grassroots organizations of the Senior Sports Association, organize and carry out various training activities around the needs of fitness guidance and exchange activities for the elderly, and carry out in-depth investigation and research on the sports work for the elderly in combination with the construction goals of a strong sports county and a healthy housing county.
At the meeting, the second council of the first session of the Fang County Senior Sports Association was held at the same time, and Comrade Zhang Guangbin presided over the meeting. The members of the council voted by a show of hands to approve Comrade Li Xiaohong's resignation as executive vice chairman and secretary general of the association, and elected Comrade Shen Yun as the executive vice chairman and secretary general of the association.
