Baizhang Township, Xiangzhou County Township. It is located in the southeast of the county, 24 kilometers east of the county people's government. It is bordered by Liuxiang Township and Dazhang Township of Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County in the east, Dazhang Township of Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County in the south, Sicun Town in the west, and Zhongping Town in the north. It has jurisdiction over 7 villages, including Minjin, Nasha, Baizhang, Aobao, Lianshi, Xinzhai and Daman. It covers an area of 76 square kilometers. The Township People's Government is stationed in Baizhang Street, Baizhang Village. 19,700 people, mainly Zhuang and Han Chinese.

In the 29th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1764), it was under the jurisdiction of Dongxiangli and Anshangli, which belonged to Xiangzhou, and in the 9th year of Tongzhi (1870), it was under the jurisdiction of Donganli. In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), it was under the jurisdiction of Andong Township, which belonged to the second district of Xiang County; in the twenty-second year (1933), Baizhang Township was set up, which belonged to Shizhen District of Xiang County; in the 30th year (1941), it was withdrawn from the district, and Baizhang Township belonged to Xiang County. In December 1949, Zhongping District was established together with Zhongping Township, Dazhang Township, Guashan Township and Southeast Township. In February 1951, it was combined with Zhongping Township, Dazhang Township and Southeast Township to establish the fourth district of Xiangxian County. In April 1953, it belonged to the 11th district of Shilong County. In 1956, it belonged to Zhongping District. In January 1958, the district was withdrawn and Baizhang Township was replaced, and in August, it was changed to a commune, and in September, it became a Fengshou Commune with Dale and Zhongping 2 communes. In March 1959, Baizhang Commune was re-established. In May 1960, it belonged to Xiangzhou County. In September 1962, it was incorporated into Zhongping District. In August 1966, Baizhang Commune was re-established. In October 1984, it was changed to a township.

It was named after Baizhang Street. Baizhang Street was originally called "Baijiang Wei", it was washed away by the flood in the 28th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1763), and then moved to the west to rebuild from the old site of Baizhang, hence the name. The main crops are rice and sugarcane, and mulberry and silkworm are raised. It produces high-quality rice, silk, rice wine, and rice flour. County road crossing. The Baizhang River flows. There are scenic spots such as horseshoe rock, "Six Foreign Han Tombs", and Leishan Zen Temple.
