On December 29, Fuyao Glass announced that the company plans to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary, Fuyao Glass (Fujian) Co., Ltd. (tentative name), in Fuqing City, Fujian Province, with a proposed registered capital of 1 billion yuan, which will be 100% funded by the company. It also plans to invest RMB 3.25 billion in the construction of automotive safety glass projects.
The new subsidiary, which will be equipped with state-of-the-art production facilities, aims to produce approximately 20.5 million square meters of automotive safety glass per year. The company will use its own funds to invest in installments, which will not have a significant impact on the company's financial position and operating results for the year.
On the evening of January 25, Fuyao Glass announced that it plans to set up three wholly-owned subsidiaries in Hefei, with a total investment of 5.75 billion yuan, to further expand the company's production and sales scale and meet the growing demand of the automobile market for the company's automotive safety glass and auto parts glass.
