This technology has enabled China's missile accuracy to reach one of the best in the world, and at present there are only two countries that have mastered this technology, and in the future, the mainland's missiles will never reach the enemy's right nostril when they hit the enemy's left nostril.

On 25 January, it was learned from the University of Science and Technology of China that a research team composed of Pan Jianwei, Chen Yuao, and Dai Hanning of the university had successfully developed a strontium-atom optical lattice clock with a stability and uncertainty of 5×10-18 per 10,000 seconds (equivalent to an error of no more than one second in billions of years).

This technology will improve China's satellite positioning, communication technology, and missile deviation accuracy by a super-order of magnitude, to what extent, in the past, it was said that blowing up your front yard may blow up the backyard, but now it means that blowing up your left nostril will definitely not hit your right nostril.

Popular science: The strontium atomic optical lattice clock is the most accurate atomic clock in the world. In terms of civilianism, I believe that many people will use a very practical software for mobile phones when traveling - mobile phone navigation.

GPS is one of the most common navigation systems, and the precise atomic clock can provide high-precision time signals for the launch, tracking and guidance of missiles, satellites and space shuttles. Therefore, high-precision atomic clocks are absolutely the foundation of aviation, military and even international security.
