Peugeot 408 ( Parameters | Inquiry | Picture ) sales performance is good, year-end sales increase is larger, but what does this car rely on to boost sales? The current Peugeot 408 can still be discounted by about 10,000 yuan, the original guide price is 105,700-121,700 yuan, and the current actual starting price is as low as about 95,000 yuan;
The Peugeot 4008/5008 is not recommended, although there is a certain range of discounts, because these two cars are all front-wheel drive SUVs, and with the same budget, you can choose a fuel-powered or even plug-in hybrid four-wheel drive SUV, which is not only a compact car but also a mid-size car, so the cost performance of these two cars is really not good to evaluate. The Peugeot 2008 uses a three-cylinder 1.2T engine and a six-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, a combination that really needs no evaluation.
Peugeot 508L as a mid-range sedan is also uncompetitive, because it does not have a 2.0T high-performance option, Peugeot Citroen can take out the maximum displacement of the engine is only 1.8T, but now the joint venture brand 2.0T&9AT mid-size sedan, its threshold price has been as low as 130,000 level. Therefore, not only is the competitiveness of the Peugeot 508L weak, but also the Peugeot 408X, which focuses on sports style, is also relatively average.
Citroen cars
The brand currently has only two vehicles with retail sales figures, namely:
- 凡尔赛C5 X，1705辆
- 天逸C5 AIRCROSS，359辆
Sales are much lower than Peugeot cars.
The Versailles C5 X and the Peugeot 408X are in the same class, with almost the same design, same engine and transmission, so if you put the two cars in the same showroom, it turns out that only one car can sell slightly more. Peugeot Citroen has already been connected to the grid, and the car is sold in the same store, so the sales of the Versailles C5 X will be slightly higher in the morning.

The Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS is the only mid-range SUV of the Citroen brand, but unfortunately the fuel version is also a small-displacement front-wheel drive car, and the rear suspension is also a torsion beam;

Citroen also has a small SUV that looks like a hatchback, the model is CR-XR, the guide price is 113,900 yuan, and the engine and gearbox used are the same as those of the Peugeot 2008, which is also 1.2T&6DCT. The year-end sales of the two major brands of Peugeot Citroen are like this, the overall performance is still not eye-catching enough, Citroen should still be an unpopular brand; the two major brands currently only Peugeot 408 looks good, if you must not choose an illegal car, it is recommended to consider this car.
