Shen Zhiyue can be regarded as the oldest group of people in the Kuomintang spy system, and his qualifications are even older than Dai Li and Xu Enzeng. Shen Zhiyue joined the Kuomintang in his early days as a student at the Zhejiang Provincial Police Academy. What is unbelievable is that Shen Zhiyue's joining of the Kuomintang at that time was like joining the Communist Party, which was a "secret joining". This link is very important, because Shen Zhiyue was later able to deceive the political trial in Yan'an, and his secret joining the Kuomintang is an amazing starting point.
In 1930, Shen Zhiyue began to engage in spy activities, and was subordinate to the Party Affairs Investigation Section, the predecessor of the Kuomintang Central Union, while the predecessor of the Military Command, the Fuxing Society Special Service Office, was not established until 1932. Shen Zhiyue embarked on the road of reaction, and under the pseudonym "Li Guodong", he killed nearly 10 Communist Party members in Shanghai and Hangzhou.
However, in 1938, Shen Zhiyue changed his name to Shen Hui, disguised himself as a professor's assistant and entered Yan'an, and then did not leave at all, and stayed in Yan'an on the grounds of staying to do revolution. The Yan'an political security department conducted a strict political trial on Shen Hui, but he was deceived by him. Shen Zhiyue later approached the Central Committee step by step, and was even received by Chairman Mao and Vice Chairman Zhou, and had a good personal relationship with Chairman Mao.
In the Kuomintang spy system, the military commander is good at assassination, while the central commander is good at lurking, especially in the placement of long-term dormant "sleepers", the central command is quite effective. Such sleepers are generally not awakened, and some are not awakened all their lives, and they live as a Bolshevik. If it weren't for Shen Zui's revelation, Shen Zhiyue might also have died as a Communist Party member.
A large number of details of Shen Zhiyue's case are still kept secret, only Shen Zui revealed his affairs, and Wang Fang, who served as the minister of public security after the founding of the People's Republic of China, once disclosed that Shen Zhiyue killed seven or eight Communist Party members in Shanghai and Hangzhou.
