Like, follow, retweet, you don't get lost in the digital field! Recently, Samsung officially released the highly anticipated S24 series of mobile phones. Among them, the S24 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor, while the S24 and S24 Plus are powered by Samsung's own Exynos 2400 processor.
You may be wondering how big the performance gap is between the two processors, and is the Exynos 2400 processor reliable? Don't worry, our good friend YouTube channel NL Tech has released a video that evaluates the performance and autonomy of the three S24 series phones, and tests them with mainstream benchmark software.
For this review, both the S24 and S24+ are powered by an Exynos 2400 processor, while the S24 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor.
First, let's take a look at GeekBench 6's CPU tests. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy has a slight lead in single- and multi-core scores, with 2289 and 7123 points, respectively, while the Exynos 2400 scores 2139 and 6634, as well as 2131 and 6758 points, respectively.
However, in the GPU test, the S24 and S24 Plus overtook the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered S24 Ultra with 15,292 and 15,087 points, with the latter scoring only 15,038 points. It seems that the S24 and S24 Plus have triumphed in GPU performance, leaving Ultra a bit behind.
Next up is the Antutu run. On this platform, the S24 Ultra's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy wins again, but the gap between the two processors is not huge. The 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy won with 1769496 points, while the Exynos 2400 scored 1662048 and 1611665 points.
There is also a test of 3D Mark. In Solar Bay's stress tests, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ with Exynos processors were significantly ahead of the AMD RDNA 3-based Xclipse 940 GPUs, with the Samsung processors slightly outperforming in thermal management.
While the S24 Ultra has a slight lead in the Wild Life Extreme test, the Exynos device is more consistent in testing. If you'd like to see more detailed results, you can watch the video link below.
It's important to note that the three S24 series phones in this review are all based on the pre-release system version, so there may be some differences from the retail version. Therefore, it is necessary to consider many things before buying!
Hey, do you have a headache with these data? Don't worry, no matter which S24 phone you choose, they will give you great performance and an amazing user experience!
