He mentioned that the phone is testing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and said that its development is progressing quite well. At the same time, he also hinted that this dual flagship phone with straight and curved screens may start mass production in September, while maintaining its advantages, it also makes up for some hardware shortcomings.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be Qualcomm's first 3nm chip, and the CPU no longer relies on the Arm public architecture, using the self-developed Nuvia architecture, which is also the first time that Qualcomm has used a self-developed architecture chip after the Snapdragon 820. As the first batch of Android flagship phones equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 mobile platform, Xiaomi is expected to have many uncertainties in terms of performance. In terms of Geekbench scores, the engineering machine has achieved a single-core score of 2070 points and a multi-core score of about 9100 points.
