Of course, considering that the EU has been reluctant to admit Turkey, Erdogan is willing to relent, probably because Biden has agreed to Erdogan's conditions, that is, the United States agrees to let Turkey buy F-16 fighter jets.

Since any country joining NATO requires the consent of all member states, after Turkey nods, whether Sweden's "accession" will be blocked in the next step depends on the performance of Hungary, which has relatively friendly relations with Russia.
