In order to further strengthen the legal education for minors, enhance network security awareness, improve security protection skills, and help students spend a safe and happy holiday, on January 18, the Juvenile Division of the Xuyi Court and the Customs Working Committee, together with the Xuyi County People's Procuratorate, came to Xuyi County Experimental Primary School to carry out a law popularization lecture on the theme of "Popularizing the Law and Bringing Warmth to the Campus, Spending the Winter Vacation Safely and Happily".
At the lecture, Zhang Xingyu, assistant judge of the juvenile court, introduced six common types of new telecommunication network fraud to the students in easy-to-understand language, and then combined with "live" cases, explained the law with cases, and put forward targeted preventive measures to guide students to enhance their awareness of self-prevention and increase vigilance.
Dong Meng, the person in charge of the juvenile court and the director of the office of the Guan Working Committee, and Zhu Hong, director of the juvenile prosecution department of the Xuyi County Procuratorate, organized the students to communicate, and guided the students to learn how to stay away from harm through interactive questions and answers. I hope to take this as an opportunity to pull up a cordon for students to protect themselves.
In recent years, the Xuyi People's Court has attached great importance to the protection of the rights and interests of minors, actively extended its adjudication functions, vigorously implemented the "Legal Protection of New Seedlings" project, and continued to carry out activities such as "bringing the law to school" and "court open days", so that students can get in touch with the law and feel the law "at zero distance" through legal popularization lectures and circuit trials, continuously improve the legal awareness and legal ability of minors, and effectively protect the healthy growth of minors.
