Perhaps it has tasted the sweetness in the pure electric mini car market, so Wuling Motors has also launched pure electric mini cars such as the Wuling Nano EV, hoping to further expand its share in the pure electric mini car market. However, consumers have their own considerations, and although the sales performance of Wuling Hongguang MINIEV is excellent, the sales performance of Wuling Nano EV is not very good.
Compared with other pure electric mini cars on the market, the official guide price of Wuling Nano EV ranges from 56,800 yuan to 66,800 yuan, which is not expensive in the pure electric mini car market, but it is not cheap. In other words, the price of the Wuling Nano EV makes this car not too competitive. However, most consumers are pragmatist, and as long as the product power can meet the needs of consumers, the sales performance of the vehicle will not be too bad, which also means that the product power of the Wuling Nano EV is not good enough.
In terms of exterior design, the Wuling Nano EV looks more like an "old man" than other pure electric mini cars on the market. The front design of this model is not bad, and the personalized split headlight cluster is decorated with a chrome trim strip and a logo in the middle. At the same time, the Wuling Nano EV also adopts a rectangular lower grille at the front bumper, and the grille with a through-design makes the front face of this car wider visual width.
Do you feel that the front design of the Wuling Nano EV is not bad? When you move your eyes to the side of this car, you can see why I say that it looks like an "old man". I won't say more, but from the side, the silhouette of this model is really unacceptable. From the rear, the design of the Wuling Nano EV is quite interesting, its rear windshield is relatively flat, and the whole rear looks quite layered, and it is also simple enough. This car also adopts a more personalized brake light shape in the rear surround, which is highly recognizable enough.
Exterior design aside, the interior design of the Wuling Nano EV is also more individual. The center console of this car adopts a relatively rare special-shaped design, which makes consumers feel that it is different. However, although the interior design of this car is interesting, the materials used in this car are not good enough, and it is full of plastic. Personally, I like the steering wheel design of the Wuling Nano EV, this car uses a more personalized double-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and the two-tone design of the steering wheel looks more unique. It's a pity that the steering wheel of this car is also made of plastic, and the feel is not excellent.
It should be noted that although the Wuling Nano EV is equipped with Bluetooth and car phone functions, all models are not equipped with a central control screen, and it is obvious that the performance of this model is poor in terms of technological intelligent configuration. Surprisingly, however, only two of the six models sold for the Wuling Nano EV do not have a reversing camera. Of course, even if there are multiple configurations equipped with a reversing camera, it does not mean that this model has excellent technological intelligence configuration, because all its models are equipped with standard auxiliary control configurations, in fact, only the uphill assist function. In addition, the safety equipment of the Wuling Nano EV is not good enough, and all models are equipped with only one airbag.
In terms of powertrain, the performance of the Wuling Nano EV is not excellent. There is only one model on sale with a 29kW motor, and the other versions have a maximum power of only 24kW, so it is still difficult to meet the needs of consumers. However, all models of the Wuling Nano EV are equipped with 28 kWh batteries, which can give consumers a pure electric range of 305 km (NEDC mode). It should be noted that the Wuling Nano EV does not come standard with a fast charging interface, and consumers who want to fully charge it in a short time must additionally choose a fast charging interface.
Overall, the design of the Wuling Nano EV does not meet the needs of domestic consumers. Compared with its competitors on the market, this model does not have a good enough exterior design, not enough high-end interior materials, not enough rich technology and safety configurations, and does not have enough excellent power output and fast enough energy replenishment efficiency. In short, the Wuling Nano EV is almost a model without bright spots, and naturally it is not loved by consumers. One thing to say, if Wuling Motors wants to occupy more market share, it also needs to show greater sincerity.
