This decision led to a major change in the political situation in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty and marked the beginning of a gradual decline in the dominance of the Zhou Dynasty.

In terms of culture, the reign of Ji Huqi, the king of Zhouli, was also an important period in the development of Eastern Zhou culture. During his reign, he vigorously advocated culture and art, which led to the great development of the cultural undertakings of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.
