The first peace talks failed because Min Aung Hlaing was already uneasy and took advantage of the opportunity of the cease-fire negotiations to secretly frantically transfer troops back to defense. As a result, they were still beaten by the allies, and the defenders everywhere followed suit and surrendered. The second peace talks were just before the general offensive in Lao Cai, and Min Aung Hlaing vainly tried to exchange the precarious Lao Cai for Rolling Lane, Baseball Match, and Xingwei and other places.
Now that Lao Cai has completely fallen into the hands of the Allied forces, the Northern Burma coalition is marching towards Lashio in Northern Shan State. The content of the third peace talks is naturally unavoidable, and the places that the allied forces want most now are Sister Mu and Lashio, but the Burmese army has asked for the withdrawal of troops from these two places, and the two sides will reconcile. You must know that now the northern Burma coalition army has taken Lao Cai, Da Mengwen, Guiyi, Mu Bang and other counties and towns, and has done enough work to attack Mu Jie and Lashio. Now that the demand for the withdrawal of troops is demanding, it can only be said that the Burmese military junta is mainly naïve, and it is clearly unclear.
The next northern Myanmar is still a real battle. Now the military flags of the northern Burma coalition army have been raised on the periphery of Mujie port, and the trend of encircling and making dumplings has been completed. The Burmese army's defenders in Mujie City are only 4,000 people, and in the face of the attack of the three brothers in northern Myanmar, it is obviously not enough, and it is easy to take Mujie. Maybe Sister Mu's Burmese army is still the same urine, and they simply surrendered after being surrounded for a long time.
At the same time, the coalition forces around Lashio also began to assemble, and nearly 12,000 troops were already under the city. Lashio is difficult to beat, but the income is not comparable to that of the old street. As the capital of Northern Shan State, Lashio is the second largest city in Northern Shan State, and crucially, it is also one of the few industrial cities in northern Myanmar. With a total population of more than 800,000, it is also the largest traditional Chinese settlement area in Myanmar. After Lashio, the Allied army really called the guerrillas into the city. If you can expand the army and raise the army, then the allied army can really shout that slogan: become bigger and stronger, and create brilliance!
In addition, the headquarters of the Burmese Army's Northeast Military Region is also located in Lashio, and the airport in Lashio is a big hidden danger, and the sooner these two key places are taken, the better it will be for the Allied forces. The Burmese Army Command, together with fighter jets, can bomb any area in northern Myanmar in a targeted manner, and can also continue to send supplies and reinforcements to various places. Taking the headquarters can make the Burmese troops in northern Myanmar, who are currently fragile, completely lose their direction. Coupled with the breaking of the wings of the Burmese Air Force, northern Myanmar has really become a kite with a broken line.
The Northern Burma coalition understands the importance of Lashio, and Min Aung Hlaing certainly understands better. Since the conflict in northern Myanmar, successive defeats have left the Burmese army leader in shame. Coupled with the prevailing trend of surrender of the defenders everywhere, Min Aung Hlaing was also angry. In order to make an example of the monkeys, a group of high-ranking generals who took the lead in surrendering were recently arrested to deter the remaining generals of the Northeast Military Region.
