On the afternoon of January 10, the Safety Committee Office of the Western Group carried out special training on fire sprinkler construction and commissioning at the 090-01 construction site. A total of more than 20 people participated in the training, including the general contractor, fire construction and supervision of projects under construction such as Tongyili, Tailaifang, and 090-01.
The fire sprinkler project involves the installation of equipment manufacturers, fire pump room construction, fire pipe network installation, territorial property and other units, which is inseparable from the sincere unity and close cooperation of all parties. Before the training, Comrade Zhao Yong of the Group Safety Committee Office exchanged three experiences with the participating comrades:
01 Problem solving is the first principle
Sprinkler construction and commissioning is a complex project, find the cause level, solve the problem is the goal. You can solve the problem one by one, or you can solve it together, in any way, but you can't pass the buck.
02 Improving efficiency is the number one goal
It is necessary to speed up the resolution of the problem and avoid the situation of delaying the construction period by two or three weeks due to the replacement of a small part. If you have a problem, you can ask it, and everyone will find a way together to not let a small thing delay the progress of the whole project.
03 Mutual help is the first guide
Since this is a "multi-arms combined operation," it is necessary to focus on the overall situation, and we must not fight separately and go our own way. In the system debugging, it is necessary not only to find the problems within the scope of its own construction, but also to find the problems in the construction of brother units, and to form a deep friendship in the battle. The three-point experience was unanimously recognized by the comrades participating in the training.
Subsequently, Comrade Zhao Yong focused on the central requirements of qualified construction of fire sprinkler, and communicated with the trainees one by one from six aspects: material and equipment procurement, installation of water supply facilities, installation of pipe networks and components, pressure testing and flushing, system commissioning, and analysis of common faults.
For example, when purchasing materials and equipment, it is necessary to inquire from the China Fire Product Information Network, identify the authenticity, and strictly control the procurement. Another example: in the construction process, individual installation workers do not use a special wrench when installing the sprinkler, but use an ordinary wrench to twist the frame of the sprinkler, resulting in fine scratches on the spray surface.
Although these scratches are not visible to the naked eye, they may cause the sprinkler head to burst during pressure testing. Another example: in order to cover up the problem of poor sealing of the pipe network, some construction units will "kindly" advise the tester that the pressure of the pipe network should not exceed 1MPa (commonly known as 10 kg), but the specification requirements should be the test pressure of 3.0MPa, and the pressure holding time should not be less than 3min. One of the trainees said that after mastering this knowledge, the "fear of heights" for many years suddenly improved.
In the interactive session, Zhao Yong had an in-depth discussion with the trainees on common problems such as frequent start of pumps for no reason, failure to increase pressure and failure to maintain pressure when hitting in the process of facility commissioning. The participants said that such an on-site training meeting not only taught theoretical knowledge, but also combined with on-site practical application, so that the learned theory could be transformed into work efficiency in the first time, which greatly improved the transformation of the results of the training.
