Starting from January 10, eligible student passengers (who have passed the student preferential qualification verification and have the remaining preferential rides) can make an appointment to purchase train tickets during the Spring Festival travel period (January 26 to March 5) through the "Special Service for Student Winter Vacation Ticket Booking" area, and each passenger can submit up to 6 reservation orders at the same time, and each order can add a combination of 20 "train number + seats" on one travel date, and the optional seats are the hard seats, hard sleepers, and second-class seats applicable to student discount tickets. Migrant workers who have passed the real-name verification can make an appointment to purchase train tickets during the Spring Festival travel through the "Reservation and Booking Service for Migrant Workers", and each passenger can submit 6 reservation orders at the same time, and each order can choose 1 combination of "time + train number + seat".
Students and migrant workers can submit their travel ticket purchase requirements for more than 17 days (inclusive) before the departure of the railway through the 12306 railway area during the Spring Festival travel period, and can reserve a ticket for March 5 at the latest. Eligible passengers can submit ticket purchase requirements on the 12306 mobile client before 23 o'clock 17 days before departure, and inquire about the redemption result 16 days before departure, and must pay the ticket through the reservation area of the 12306 mobile client before 23 o'clock on the 16th day before the departure.
The railway department will continue to optimize the functions of the 12306 system and strive to provide more convenient and efficient ticketing services for the majority of passengers. At the same time, I would like to remind the majority of passengers that the railway 12306 website (including the client) is the only official train ticket online ticketing platform of China Railway, and has never authorized any third-party platform to sell train tickets. Passengers who purchase tickets through third-party platforms will not only encounter "traps" such as surcharges and bundled sales of services, but also may have the risk of personal privacy information leakage. Please be sure to purchase tickets through the official channels of the railway, look for the official website of 12306 and the official APP of "Railway 12306", and confirm that the payee of the ticket is "China Railway Network Co., Ltd.", so as to avoid not receiving the refund due when the ticket is refunded and changed in the future.
