In 2000, I graduated from university, carrying a simple bag and only seventy dollars, and rushed into the hustle and bustle of the city in ignorance.
In a blink of an eye, I have been working hard in this city for more than 20 years, and the past is vivid, as if it happened yesterday.
I still remember sitting alone on the steps in front of the talent market, looking at the lights of the city, feeling helpless and confused about the future......
If you want to find a job with the right major, don't be stupid, employers need to have work experience, and I'm just an ignorant novice. The first priority was to settle down, and finally, there was a company that could provide accommodation, so I happily applied for the job, and the hire was immediately successful. Only after actually working did I know that the beautiful name of the direct salesman is actually a small trader walking the streets and alleys. Carry a large bag full of shampoo, toothpaste, soap or insoles every day...... The company sells to you at what they call the purchase price, and they don't care how much you go out and sell. There is no base salary, and what I earn is only a difference in the middle, and it was really difficult to sweep the streets in that era.
I earn an average of 10 yuan a day, 7 cents for a morning meal, which is basically a fritter and a bowl of soy milk, and 3 to 5 yuan for lunch is basically a bowl of noodles, and the rest of the yuan is used for dinner. Dinner must be eaten together, no matter how much you eat, it is the AA system at the final checkout, a team of dozens of people, most of them are boys, so, girls suffer a lot. At that time, there was a term in the team called "brushing the plates", not really brushing, but referring to the last person who did not eat enough to pour all the leftover vegetable soup and vegetable bases on his own bowl and wipe them out.
In case one day there is too much money to be spent and more money is shared among everyone in the evening, then there is not a dime left or enough. I remember once having diarrhea and lying down all day. As a result, I really didn't have money to eat that day.
I remember one night, in order to save a yuan of bus money, I wore slippers alone, walked from Hemu Road to Shenyang Station, walked 19 stops, the streets of Shenyang were brightly lit, but my figure was so lonely and difficult, the soles of my feet left dense black soot dots, just like black rice steamed buns as even, and the soles of the slippers were also overwhelmed and folded in half.
In this case, I saved up money to buy myself a single mosquito net, which seems to have cost 25 yuan. I had been with that company for less than a month, and when I left, I only had 30 yuan and this mosquito net.
Every summer, it accompanies me and saves me from the pain of mosquito bites.
In 2007, I finally found a nest in the wandering city. This mosquito net is also treasured by me, I am reluctant to throw it, it is the "first pot of gold" I have bought in the society. The historical mission of the mosquito net is over, but its new mission is still continuing, this arduous journey will forever be imprinted in my memory, and the existence of this mosquito net is also so great and glorious.
