Following the release of the Xbox version of Baldur's Gate 3, players have been suffering from game save corruption. Microsoft has finally announced that it will release a full firmware update for the Xbox Series X|S console to address the issue.
Developer Larian Studios announced on Twitter: "Microsoft has identified the cause of the Xbox archive bug and will release a firmware update to fix it." You'll be able to manually update your consoles on January 16th, or wait another week for the update to roll out globally. While we haven't been able to verify the fix ourselves, we're optimistic that Microsoft has found the root cause. ”
Since Baldur's Gate 3 arrived on Xbox Series consoles in early December, players have been reporting save issues.
