On January 9, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Nanshan District Party Committee and undertaken by the Shenzhen Cultural Creativity and Design Federation, the "'Symbiosis and Continuation' Fashion Design Exhibition" opened at the Nanshan District Cultural and Creative Art Practice Base located in Baode Square, Nantou Ancient City. This is the second exhibition of the co-construction project of the Nanshan District Cultural and Creative Art Practice Base after the "Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Creative Design Exchange Exhibition".
This art exhibition explores how "fashion" can coexist in harmony with nature, break through the shackles of sustainable development, and bring fashion back to life with a vision of reverence and ecological order. The exhibition will run until January 16.
The exhibition showcased the fashion works of more than 20 artists and designers from Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as the award-winning works in the fashion category of the previous Shenzhen Global Design Awards. In addition to choosing environmentally friendly materials for creation, designers also actively spread the concept of "sustainability", and assume environmental social responsibility through practice, and put forward effective solutions for future green development. Their design not only takes into account the development of contemporary society, but also considers the balance and harmony of the development of the whole human and environmental development, witnessing the integration of fashion and nature to create a brighter future.
Nandu reporter learned that this exhibition also aims to encourage the exchange and cooperation of designers and fashion industry talents in different design fields in the three cities, which will help promote the establishment of closer cooperative relations between Hong Kong, Macao and the mainland, promote the integrated development of creativity and fashion industry in the three places, and create a creative spark between the core cities of the Bay Area, and play a positive role in building a high-quality platform for innovation and culture in the Greater Bay Area and jointly building a rich cultural Bay Area.
From the next to the end of June, the base will also hold 4 exhibitions and 6 cultural and creative art activities to promote the prosperity and development of the cultural and creative art industry in Nanshan District, activate the cultural atmosphere of the urban area, enrich the cultural and spiritual life of Nanshan citizens, and provide a platform for display, exchange and cooperation for cultural and creative art institutions and individuals in Nanshan District.

The 2021 spring and summer fashion design work "Da Yin" series of "Dexi Miha" uses Xiangyun yarn, a national intangible cultural heritage with a history of 1,700 years, as the carrier, with the sustainable concept of ecology, design, fashion, and culture in multiple dimensions, and the design language with the new fashion of contemporary China, to express the "Chinese style" in our eyes.
Designed and produced in 2021, the work is made from leftover scraps from garment factories, fabrics from fabric manufacturers' inventory and recycled fabrics, giving textile materials a second life. The work advocates the concept of sustainable development, combines traditional Chinese culture, and presents new Chinese fashion with a unique clothing art language.
The exhibited work "Forest respiration" was originally designed to solve the problem of environmental pollution. The fashion industry is ushering in a sustainable change, through the innovative design of styles, so that a single style can be split into four new styles to meet the needs of different temperature environments, to achieve the effect of one clothes to wear more, to avoid the phenomenon of excess clothing. At the same time, in terms of fabrics, the recycled material of "Coke bottles" is used, and renewable environmentally friendly fiber fabrics are produced through the recycling of "Coke bottles" to reduce the harm of plastic waste to the ecology.
