According to Fujian Daily, on January 5, the third session of the 18th People's Congress of Mingxi County, Sanming City, held its second plenary session. After the election, Zhang Wenjing was elected as the county magistrate of the Mingxi County People's Government.
According to public information, Zhang Wenjing, female, Han nationality, born in December 1982, is a graduate student and a member of the Communist Party of China. She served as the deputy secretary and deputy county magistrate of Youxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, and the deputy secretary of the Shaxian District Party Committee of Sanming City, Fujian Province, and has been the secretary and chairman of the Party Leadership Group of Sanming Association for Science and Technology since 2022.
On December 22, 2023, the Organization Department of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee issued a pre-appointment announcement for cadres, in which Zhang Wenjing intends to be nominated as a candidate for the main position of the county (city, district) government.
On December 30, 2023, the 20th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 18th People's Congress of Mingxi County, Sanming City was held. The meeting deliberated and voted on relevant personnel matters. Due to work needs, it was decided to appoint: Zhang Wenjing as the deputy county magistrate of the Mingxi County People's Government, acting county magistrate.
According to public information, Mingxi County is located in the northwest of Fujian, in the middle of Sanming City, and at the southeast foot of the Wuyi Mountains. In 1470 (the sixth year of Ming Chenghua), the county was formerly known as naturalization, and was renamed Mingxi in May 1933, with a total area of 1,730 square kilometers, 4 towns and 5 townships, 96 villages (residences), and a total population (registered population) of 115,900.
