According to the report, in the fourth quarter of 2023, the transaction volume of 5G mobile phones accounted for 66.56%, an increase of 13.27% year-on-year and 5.58% quarter-on-quarter. The transaction volume of used 5G mobile phones has exceeded 50% for six consecutive quarters. In terms of brands, Apple's iPhone still maintained a growth trend under price competition, accounting for 34.67% of the total transaction volume, a year-on-year increase of 1.33% and a month-on-month increase of 2.68%. Xiaomi ranked second, up 0.42% year-on-year. Huawei came in third, with Vivo and OPPO in fourth and fifth, respectively. Honor followed with a year-on-year increase of 0.51%.
Analysts from the data department of Zhuan Zhuan Group said that in the second half of the year, with the official return of Huawei, the domestic market seems to have injected a catalyst, which directly stimulated consumers' demand for replacement
According to data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, from January to November, a total of 415 new models and 203 5G models were listed in the domestic mobile phone market, a year-on-year increase of 0.5%. The total shipments totaled 261 million units, and the shipments of 5G mobile phones were 215 million units, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%, accounting for 82.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
