Hello everyone, I am the judge of this year's original illustration exhibition, the painter Yu Rong. It is my pleasure to share with you this year's award-winning work - a set of illustrations "Inhalation" created by Hu Yifan of China.

This group of works has a strong graphic design effect: we are first attracted by the blue, red, pink and yellow that is covered in the picture, and we unconsciously want to come forward to see what is going on. I want to discover the details hidden in these large color blocks, and I want to capture the little secrets in the paintings.

All the details are an encounter that coincides with our theme this year. The encounter between butterflies and nets, the meeting of babies and mothers, the meeting of arrows and targets, the encounter of breezes and candlelight, and the encounter of mosquitoes and fingers. These episodes of everyday life happen in a loop every moment. Sometimes we feel, sometimes we neglect, sometimes we think. This is the success of this group of "Breathe" works.

Inhaling and exhaling, entering and exiting, having and not, retracting and releasing and loosening, loosening and tightening, all the stories presented in the pictures convey the true meaning of life, and our traditional philosophical concepts, as well as the love and respect for nature and life, life and nature complement each other and complement each other.

Each piece has a separate story. The works are connected in a smooth continuous story, like a string of dazzling pearls, full of grains that complement each other. After reading this set of works, I believe that everyone will be infected, and they will have the urge to create their own "encounter".

Founded in 2015, the "Chen Bochui International Children's Literature Award Original Illustration Exhibition" is one of the important brand activities of the "Chen Bochui International Children's Literature Award".

The Illustration Exhibition is divided into two categories: Professional Group and Public Group. Among them, the professional group is open to professional illustrators from all over the world, and sets an annual theme every year to fully stimulate the creative imagination of participants and make their works more diversified and interesting.

The public group is aimed at all children and painting lovers who love reading and painting, actively advocating the reading of classic literature, and taking the award-winning works of the "Chen Bochui International Children's Literature Award" as the creative theme of last year, and cultivating future illustrators in the way of reading and painting.
