Today (7 January), the cold air moved further eastward and southward, and the maximum temperature in many places in the central and eastern parts dropped to recent lows, or even turned low for a short time. Tomorrow, the temperature in many places north of the Huai River will rebound rapidly, and the local temperature rise in the northeast can reach about 10 °C.
With the arrival of supplementary cold air the day after tomorrow, the central and northeastern regions of Inner Mongolia will cool down again. For example, in Nanjing and Shanghai, the highest temperature today is less than 10 °C, and the temperature will gradually rise to more than 10 °C in the next two days, and it will fall again the day after tomorrow.

Looking ahead to the early part of this year's "March 9th", the mainland will be controlled by a high-altitude warm high-pressure ridge, and at the same time, there is no obvious cold and high pressure on the ground, so it may further increase the amplitude of high temperatures.
At present, the maximum temperature of 15 °C on the 13th will cross the Huai River and reach the north of Henan. This also means that the warmth in many places from Huanghuai to Jiangnan is comparable to that of mid-March or even late March all year round, which is rare in the same period.
