On October 19, the Hubei Black Tea Product Quality Inspection Center in Xianning Chibi High-tech Zone was a busy scene, and the staff was making final preparations for the official operation. Hubei Black Tea Product Quality Testing Center, with a total investment of 82 million yuan, is built by Chibi Public Inspection and Testing Center, which is currently the first and only black tea product quality testing center in Hubei Province.
Hubei Black Tea Product Quality Testing Center can provide black tea, flower tea, black tea, Tuo tea, oolong tea, Tieguanyin, green tea and other 22 kinds of products testing, the testing items cover black tea sensory, physical and chemical, pollutant limit, pesticide residues, trace elements, vitamins, amino acids, microorganisms, illegal additions in tea and other 67 parameters (according to the standard of test method statistics), coverage rate of 100%.
The testing center has more than 130 sets of high-end advanced instruments and equipment including inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), ICP emission spectrometer, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, liquid mass spectrometer, etc., and has introduced 4 master's degree students and 7 undergraduate students in tea science, food engineering, food technology, biotechnology and other related majors, with a number of professional talents in quality management and standardization.
It is understood that the 2021 "Belt and Road" Chibi Green Brick Tea Industry Development Conference will be held on November 3-6, and at present, the 147 tea samples that will be exhibited during the tea industry conference are being tested at the center.
"We provide free testing services to more than 30 local tea companies." Long Xiaoda, secretary of the party group and director of the Chibi Public Inspection and Testing Center, introduced that in the past, Chibi tea enterprises had to do tea testing not only to save money but also to pay money, and now as long as they are sent here, they can complete the testing, which greatly saves the time cost and capital cost of the enterprise.
It is reported that during the 2021 "Belt and Road" Chibi Green Brick Tea Industry Development Conference, in the main venue of Chibi, the Hubei Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau will list the Chibi "Hubei Black Tea Product Quality Testing Center", at which time, the testing center will be officially put into operation.
The completion of the Hubei Black Tea Product Quality Testing Center marks that Chibi Black Tea will stand on the standard highland, provide regional enterprises with high-quality black tea and related fields of inspection and testing, standard formulation and application research and development services, will become an important scientific and technological platform and technical support for industrial development, will have a broader prospect of high-quality development, and improve the competitiveness of Hubei tea brand.
