In 1943, the anti-Japanese situation in North China was very good, and at this time, the Japanese army had suffered a great loss because of the many years of fighting on the battlefield in China, and the combat effectiveness of the army had dropped significantly.
In view of this situation, the Party Central Committee issued an order requiring the soldiers of the Jin-Cha-Ji and Hebei-Lubian base areas in North China to strengthen their training and prepare for the final decisive battle against the Japanese invaders.
However, on June 30 of that year, Chairman Mao suddenly received an urgent message from the Hebei-Shandong Border Military Region that Comrade Huang Hua, deputy commander of the border army, had been assassinated by a traitor while presiding over a military deployment meeting.
Huang Hua was killed along with several other comrades, and at the same time, four officers and staff officers were wounded, but the murderer left after committing the murder, because his position was very high, and no one dared to stop him from escaping at that time.
Chairman Mao was extremely angry and instructed that this traitor must be arrested and shot to avenge the death of his comrades, but it took 7 years for this person to get the end he deserved. So who was this man? Why did no one dare stop him at that time, and why did he kill his comrades?
Speculators get acquainted with revolutionary aspirants
This traitor is called Xing Renfu, born in Yanshan County, Hebei Province in 1908, his family conditions are good, so he went to the school to study, and was later admitted to the provincial No. 2 Middle School to study Xi.
After graduation, his father wanted him to inherit the family business, but Xing Renfu felt that he should take advantage of this period to go out and have some experience, so he ran to the northwest warlord Ma Hongkui and became a soldier.
Because he was strong and brave in battle, and he was literate and knowledgeable, he soon became an officer. However, Xing Renfu found that Ma Hongkui's troops were feudal and backward, and the situation of officers oppressing soldiers was very serious, so he became disappointed and wanted to flee.
In 1929 he befriended several Communists, at a time when the CCP was plotting against the forces of the Kuomintang and local warlords to strengthen the revolutionary forces.
After some thought, Xing Renfu decided that the Communist Party might be more promising than a warlord like Ma Hongkui, so he joined the Communist Party of China. It can be seen from this incident that this is an opportunist, because he did not join the party for lofty ideals, but felt that he would have a better future.
At that time, our party needed all capable personnel, so he joined the party, and after joining the party, in order to perform well, he started to do underground work.
When he first joined the revolution, he still had great enthusiasm and used his position to help our party transport troops and materials, and he did a good job, so he quickly won the attention of his superiors.
Three years later, his branch was exposed, and he ran back to his hometown and hid. A few years later, the Anti-Japanese War broke out, and under the arrangement of the party organization, he went to work in the National Salvation Army under the banner of Feng Yuxiang and Ji Hongchang's Anti-Japanese League.
Due to his outstanding performance, he became the commander of the unit and later served as the commander of this army. Soon after, Chiang Kai-shek pursued a reactionary policy, arrested and killed General Ji Hongchang, expelled Feng Yuxiang, and Xing Renfu ran home again.
Originally, he wanted to break away from the revolution, but the party organization came to his hometown, arranged a new job for him, made him a member of the military and political committee of the Jilu border region, and later became the commander of the eastward anti-Japanese advance of the Eighth Route Army.
Xing Renfu has always been speculative, and if he can become a high-ranking cadre, he has not broken away from the revolution. Soon after, he went to Shandong to work for a year, and after returning to Hebei, he served as the commander of the Hebei-Shandong Border Military Region, and also got acquainted with Comrade Huang Hua, who was sent by his superiors to serve as deputy commander.
Renegade killed his comrades-in-arms, took refuge in the enemy and became a traitor
When he first met Huang Hua, Xing Renfu was still very enthusiastic. And Huang Hua is a strong-willed revolutionary aspirant, he is a native of Hubei, his parents died when he was a child, and he was raised by his kind sister-in-law.
When he became an adult, Huang Hua went to work as a handyman in a primary school, often standing outside the window and listening to the teacher's lectures to the students, and also learned some knowledge, through analysis, he realized the darkness of the old society and the oppression of the working people, and his heart was full of yearning for freedom and light.
In 1926, 15-year-old Huang Hua saw that the Communist Party was fighting local tyrants and dividing the land, so he firmly joined the people's army. After that, he joined the party, entered the Red Army University to study Xi, and also participated in the Long March.
After fighting in Shanxi for several years, he was transferred to the Jilu Border Military Region and served as the deputy commander, responsible for cooperating with Xing Renfu to fight against the Japanese invaders.
After taking office, Huang Hua put forward the strategy of using superior forces to strike at strategic points where the enemy's strength was weak, and personally led troops to fight on the front line many times, winning many victories.
At the beginning, he was also very warm and respectful of Xing Renfu, after all, Xing Renfu was his superior at this time, and Xing Renfu also admired this brave and resourceful "little brother", and the two tried their best to cooperate to do a good job.
But in 1942, the situation changed, and the Japanese army began to sweep North China, and the War of Resistance entered the most difficult stage. When Xing Renfu saw this situation, he became pessimistic about the confrontation with Japan.
In the name of building a rear base, he hoarded supplies and turned his headquarters into a "pleasure room", fighting passively to reap the benefits, and wanted to wait for victory before coming out to continue to reap benefits.
Huang Hua and other comrades severely criticized him, but Xing Renfu developed a strong sense of confrontation, intensified his efforts to form gangs, recruit puppet troops, build personal networks, and retaliate against other comrades in the party.
What's even more hateful is that he used the puppet army that defected to him to hook up with the Kuomintang spies in Tianjin, and wantonly betrayed the intelligence of the Eighth Route Army, wanting to "leave an extra way back" for himself.
When Huang Hua saw that this superior had seriously violated discipline, he reported his behavior to the Central Committee, and the Party Central Committee believed that Xing Renfu needed political education, so it notified him to go to Yan'an for training.
However, Xing Renfu thought that Huang Hua was suing behind his back and wanted to "usurp" his position as commander-in-chief, so he had the idea of getting rid of the other party in his heart.
He pretended to be sick and refused to go to Yan'an for training, and as soon as the spring of the second year began, he looked for a murderer to kill Huang Hua. In June 1944, he found Feng Guankui, who was born as a bandit and later defected to the Eighth Route Army, and was tempted by a lot of money, so that he selected 11 cronies, and suddenly rushed into the venue to grab and shoot while Huang Hua and others were in a meeting.
Huang Hua and seven other comrades were caught off guard and died on the spot, leaving several comrades seriously injured. After the guards arrived, they pursued Feng Guankui and other murderers. Xing Renfu jumped out to obstruct and cover the murderer's escape.
After that, he recruited familiar officers everywhere, hoping to pull people into the water to defect together, but everyone refused, and then his conspiracy to arrange for the murderer to kill Huang Hua was also exposed.
Xing Renfu also knew that the organization would not let him go, so he packed up the money he had hidden for many years, took his wife and cronies, and used his status as a commander to quickly cross the checkpoint of the troops, escape from the base area, and defect to the Japanese invading army.
The fate of the shameless deserved
After coming to the headquarters of the Japanese army, Xing Renfu shamelessly betrayed all the secrets of the Eighth Route Army, and also asked the Japanese army for merit in killing Huang Hua as a merit.
Xing Renfu, who completely became a traitor, led the puppet army to sweep the base area in turn, because he knew the situation here very well, so he caused great damage to the base area, resulting in the sacrifice of many comrades.
After listening to the report, the chairman was very angry that many people at that time were afraid of Xing Renfu's high official position and did not dare to arrest him, which led to his final escape, and personally issued instructions to arrest Xing Renfu and shoot him at any time.
But Xing Renfu, under the protection of the Japanese army, temporarily avoided the revenge of the people's army against him, and when he saw that the Eighth Route Army was helpless against him, he was triumphant and felt that he could sit back and relax.
Unexpectedly, the Japanese army surrendered the next year, Xing Renfu panicked, once he fell into the hands of the Eighth Route Army, he would definitely die.
After thinking about it, he contacted the Tianjin Kuomintang spy he had met before and said that he wanted to defect, and the Kuomintang was very happy and immediately accepted him.
Xing Renfu served as the head of the Tianjin Military Command and temporarily escaped justice punishment, and then in the Kuomintang, he used the gold and silver treasures he had looted before, bribed and solicited connections everywhere, and even became an officer of the security army, and later became the head of the regiment.
After the Liberation War began, Xing Renfu knew that if the Kuomintang was defeated, he really had nowhere to go and could only be punished by the Communist Party and the people with the most severe sanctions, so he led his subordinates to desperately collect intelligence to help the Kuomintang fight against the PLA.
On January 15, 1949, Tianjin was liberated, Xing Renfu fled in disguise, and was captured and imprisoned by the People's Liberation Army.
On October 1 of the same year, the People's Republic of China was founded. Xing Renfu knew that his situation was gone, so he admitted the crime of killing Huang Hua and hoped that the people's government would spare his life.
However, if this combination of traitors, traitors, and reactionaries had been spared, they would not have been able to account for Huang Hua and the other comrades who had sacrificed, and he was eventually sentenced to death.
On September 7, 1950, Xing Renfu was escorted to the execution ground to be executed. After a single gunshot, the criminal executioner got what he deserved.
Xing Renfu participated in the revolution for speculation, but he killed his comrades and became a traitor, and later became a traitor and a reactionary, and he was shot at his own fault. Comrade Huang Hua's unexpected sacrifice is a great loss to the party and the people.
In order to commemorate him, in 1945, the people's government renamed Xinqing County on the southeast coast of Hebei as Huanghua County to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs represented by Huang Hua in the revolution!
