Starting from 2022, a large number of Internet companies began to lay off employees, because the epidemic has been three years, so that the era of business expansion of major Internet companies has passed, in order to reduce costs, major Internet companies have begun large-scale layoffs, among which the most serious layoff is the position of programmer, because the salary of programmers is relatively high, and the layoff can reduce a lot of costs for enterprises.
Last year, I felt relatively lucky, although many Internet companies collapsed and laid off employees, but I was in an outsourcing company, specializing in software development for banks, and I thought that as a state-owned enterprise, banks could not fail, as long as the bank did not fail, we had a job. But the situation is not like that at all, since Xu Jiayin went in, my Everbright Bank began to cut a large number of outsourcing personnel, many projects are constantly cutting outsourcing personnel, my project is not the core project of the bank, although I have been on this project for more than three years, at the end of October this year, we were notified a week in advance, the whole project was cut, and the people on the entire project had to leave and return to our company, and my former colleagues in the Bank of China did outsourcing in the same situation, including some colleagues from CCB.
After leaving the company and returning to the company, because he had withdrawn from Party A's project and could no longer make money for the company, the company paid one-fourth of the company's salary every month. For the old employees, the salary is relatively high, even if the company has other projects, the company will not recommend to you, the company will recruit a group of younger, less salary programmers from the society, and then recommend to Party A's project team. For this kind of programmer who is laid off from the project by Party A, the company will not fire you, because then you need N+1 compensation, the company will pay you a quarter of your salary, and will not recommend other project teams to you, and it will consume you until you resign.
The job is very difficult to find, submit a lot of resumes, basically all of them are in the sea, there are few people to take care of you, at most there are a few people from the outsourcing company to talk to you, the salary is particularly low, no matter how long you work, the highest will give you 18k, do you love to do it or not, there are a lot of unemployed programmers in the society waiting for people to screen it. There are also those over 35 years old, bachelor degree or above, and must also be required to be a computer-related major, a colleague of mine has a college degree, and he has not found a job after being unemployed for half a year.
I am writing these things, just to let you know the current situation of programmers looking for jobs in Beijing through my personal experience, everyone has a job to work hard, it is best not to resign easily, for those who want to change careers, especially those who want to change careers by participating in the training of some training institutions, with my personal advice, forget it.
