01 Keep driving at a low speed
The driving speed and distance in foggy days are as follows:
1. When the visibility is less than 500 meters and more than 200 meters, the speed is not allowed to exceed 80 kilometers per hour, and the distance between the vehicle in front of the same lane is more than 200 meters;
2. When the visibility is less than 200 meters and more than 100 meters, the speed is not allowed to exceed 60 kilometers per hour, and the distance between the vehicle in front of the same lane is more than 100 meters;
3. When the visibility is less than 100 meters and more than 50 meters, the speed is not allowed to exceed 40 kilometers per hour, and the distance between the vehicle in front of the same lane is more than 50 meters;
4. When the visibility is within 30m, the speed should be adjusted below 20km; When the visibility is about 10 meters, the speed is adjusted to less than 5 kilometers per hour.
02 Use the lights correctly
When traveling in haze weather, you should turn on the front and rear anti-fog lights, tail lights, width indicators and low beams, and use the lights to improve visibility, see the vehicles and pedestrians in front of you and the road conditions, and make it easy for others to see yourself. Remember not to use high beams, because the high beams are directed upwards, and the light emitted by the fog will form a white expanse in front of the car, which can easily cause the driver's vision to be confused.
03 Clear the window fog
Foggy days are more common in autumn and winter, when the temperature is low and the inside of the car is prone to fogging. Functions such as rear window defogging and rearview mirror defogging should be enabled in time, and the air outlet should be facing the front windshield to eliminate fogging in the car. If necessary, you can also prepare some defogging agent and put it in the car for later use.
04 Try to avoid overtaking
