At the beginning of the new year, a special exhibition is being held at the China Maritime Museum. This exhibition, with the theme of "Riding the Wind and Waves, Chinese Ships", is a cross-border cooperation between Shanghai Suntech Experimental School and China Maritime Museum, and an innovative attempt of "Navigation + Education".

"The materials we use in our shipbuilding are very environmentally friendly. According to the person in charge of the Social Education Department of the China Maritime Museum, Zhonghaibo has museum-school cooperation with 137 schools in the city, and the primary school of Shanghai Private Shangde Experimental School is the first cooperative school to hold an exhibition at Zhonghaibo, and the "Chinese Ship Riding the Wind and Waves - Museum-School Cooperation Achievement Exhibition" is also the first exhibition of Zhonghaibo in 2024. As soon as it opened, it attracted the attention of the majority of sailing enthusiasts.
It is understood that most of the ship works participating in this exhibition are from the students of the primary school of Suntech Experimental School, with more than 200 ship model works, covering different power plants, different models and uses, as well as nearly 100 poems and paintings about the development of Chinese ships.
According to Bu Hongping of Suntech Experimental School, more than 3,000 students from the primary school participated in the science and technology festival, and more than 500 works stood out, and 282 works were selected to participate in the museum exhibition.

The museum has donated more than 100 sets of warship building models to the school for students to create freely, provided materials related to the exhibition "Thousands of Miles of Tide - Looking for Navigation and Boats in Ancient Poems" and some navigation science books, distributed popular science lectures "The Evolution of Ships" and "Stories of Chinese Maritime Figures", and arranged for some fifth-grade students to participate in the STEM course "Tools for Crossing the River".
It is reported that the special exhibition of student works of "Limited Chinese Ships" will be exhibited at the China Maritime Museum until the end of February.
