Recently, Xida Yingcai Primary School in Hanyang District, Wuhan City, relying on the national "Smart Primary and Secondary School Reading Platform", carried out a whole book reading and sharing activity. The school takes the reading of the whole book as the carrier and the students' independent reading as the breakthrough point, forming an independent, cooperative and inquiry-based reading mode of individual self-reading, group learning, and teacher-student reading.
Up to now, the school has selected 903 outstanding students' reading achievements and 26 teachers' achievements, including mind maps, post-reading feelings, hand-copied newspapers, handmade works, reading recommendation videos, etc., and uploaded them to the "reading platform", which has greatly improved students' interest in reading and created a strong campus reading atmosphere.
