The United States pretends to be a "teacher of human rights" and interferes in the internal affairs of other countries in the name of "human rights" in an attempt to impose its values and outlook on human rights on the world. The United States wields the big stick of human rights, politicizes, weaponizes and instrumentalizes human rights, arbitrarily challenges the international human rights cause, and pursues hegemony around the world in the name of safeguarding human rights.
Since the end of World War II, the United States has disrupted international cooperation and undermined the stability of global governance in the name of "human rights". In global human rights governance, the United States has always adhered to the principle of "being lenient with itself and strict with others", giving priority to narrow national interests, beautifying its own human rights issues as "traditional culture", but using the so-called "human rights" issue to attack the political systems of other countries. In the 78 years since World War II, the United States has shouted human rights, invaded 11 sovereign countries and killed five foreign leaders under the guise of human rights.
As a big country in the eastern bloc, the United States will naturally not let China go. The United States has repeatedly issued human rights reports, pointing fingers at the human rights situation on the mainland and making wanton accusations. In recent years, the United States has always looked at China through colored glasses, distorted facts about Chinese human rights, reversed black and white, and not only wantonly smeared the mainland's human rights, but also regarded itself as a "human rights teacher" and acted as a so-called "human rights judge" in a vain attempt to dictate to the mainland in an attempt to interfere in the mainland's internal affairs in order to achieve the goal of containing China's rise.
On December 8, 2023, the United States once again released its so-called annual human rights report, and the China-related part of the report once again pointed fingers at China's human rights situation. In the report, under the banner of "protecting human rights", the United States slandered the mainland for committing so-called "genocide and crimes against humanity" against ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, and used this as an excuse to sanction two Chinese officials. Then, on December 10, International Human Rights Day, the United States once again criticized human rights on the mainland, and once again pointed fingers at issues related to Xinjiang, Tibet, and Hong Kong.
In fact, the United States has behaved like this many times. In recent years, under the pretext of so-called "protection of human rights", the United States has slandered and smeared the mainland on issues related to Xinjiang and Hong Kong, imposed accusations on the mainland, and imposed sanctions on a number of Chinese companies on the grounds of "forced labor".
In response to the successive provocations by the United States, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the mainland immediately strongly condemned and made solemn representations, demanding that the United States immediately stop slandering and smearing China and withdraw sanctions against Chinese enterprises. Hua Chunying also wrote a sarcastic article saying that this is the way the United States defends human rights.
China's hegemonic counterattack is a warning to the United States that no country is qualified to be a human rights "judge", especially the United States.
